The "Pump and Dump" referral was absolute rubbish. The SP rose because it looked like Covid was returning in a more severe strain and the market sees this as a Covid stock. When the Covid threat abated so did the SP. There was no concerted effort to pump this stock prior to the rise. Just about all Covid stocks rose and have fallen back to varying degrees. This is our problem in a nutshell, the market still views us as a Covid stock.
Not just the government but Westminster as a (w)hole ValJu. Higher Salary attracts a better standard, humf like that worked. They are all appalling with the Cons leading the pack.
Have to agree, even I am starting to believe that all is not well. Silence usually means that there is something to hide. I am still in profit but I do not wish that to dwindle any more than it has. I shall review my position at the next update. Market sentiment still views this as solely a Covid stock and with Omicron seemingly less damaging and becoming the dominant variant the writing could be on the wall.
PeterBuc yes we would get a "Spike" on a positive outcome but I think that would erode away with no other positive news. On the flip side a negative outcome , or hint of, would send the share price down as sure as eggs are eggs with the then associated struggle to recover, if no good news in this time.
Leerex, the vaccine was never purported to give immunity to Covid nor prevent all transmission only reduce the risk of serious illness and transmission from/of Covid. Your take on this is a common one put forward to help justify not taking the vax. Personally I do not care if you are vaxed or not as I assume, at present, that all are a potential risk unless I know of their habits and I do not lose any sleep over it.
