EMC2... the £85k only applies to Cash held, the holdings are registered to you by the nominee.
If the nominee goes tits up, you probably wont be able to access either for quite some time, but you WILL get the shares back unless the company whose shares you hold goes bust as well..... you wont be able to access/trade/transfer the shares until the administrator allows it.

Unless something has changed in the past year or so, you can ask for a 'letter of representation' for the shares you hold in your accounts (both Dealing and ISA)... with that you are entitled to both attend and vote at an EGM/AGM (I have done so many times).
You are also fully entitles to instruct the nominee to vote a certain way in respect of your holding(s).
The nominee, if no instructions have been received for outstanding holdings held with them) will normally instruct the chairman of the meeting to vote as he sees fit (e.g. with the boards recommendation).

Am getting a bit confused at what the 70% is of in relation to Newcrest JV once they have met the criteria....
My understanding is it was for 70% of the proceeds for haverion only, but some seem to be implying (or under the impression) that it is 70% of Greatland.
Can someone please clarify (and correct me if I am wrong in my understanding)

Bearing in mind loads of things currently on hold, Cancer itself hasn't gone on strike, however, I would say it's reasonable to assume that detection by doctors/hospitals will have been majorly affected during the period.
I do feel that there will be many who are symptomatic but will likely have their testing/results delayed.
I would hope that their testing would be speeded up as soon as is possible for them.
Lets hope that some common sense comes out of the government/nice to use what is currently available !

I am not knocking any of the info or knocking the tech etc etc, but am looking at the drop this morning and the content of the RNS and am linking the two.

Personally I think they should have release the news on their website, not issue as an RNS.

Have not seen any significant news from the board to improve the shareprice (or maybe its just that no-one sees any value in what we are doing) except for any snippets of what Lindy does/finds having had indicators of that at AGMs and soundbites... very frustrated with the boards management but not the tech.

Still feel the links with British Biotec from years back may partially be an issue.
