Agree, they have passed one hurdle in what is a marathon if they want to ever put an end to exploring for new fossil fuels in Ireland and one media article is dressing up to be more than it actually is. Barryroe farm in news expected by end of the month as that would be 2 full months which is the upper timescale for an exclusivity period. Prime buy op.

Licence Expiry here is 1st May 2019 - thoughts? no offence but you really dont have the scooby do what you are talking about.. They current have the licence... its still valid for 2 1/2 years at which point it comes up for renewal... absolutely nothing different here to any other AIM oil and gas company... They all are operating on licences that need renewal. Renewing ones licence is Par of the course generally as long as previous conditions were met. My response from Sefton is as follows for total transparency: "I can clarify that there is nothing proposed that would involve any capital expenditure (such as a signing bonus or fee) for the licence extension, other that we will commit to the work programme of drilling TLP-103 (which we want to do in any event)." Ill give a direct example - your beloved SRSP (of which im also invested) Ororo field licence expires on 1st May 2019...That will need renewing. Just total lack of shareholder awareness of simple facts means no big deal is being made of it... as i say ... normally par for the course.

Still 2 1/2 years on the licence which is a long time. The funny thing is most AIM oil and gas companies are in the same position with licence periods running out yet continue to develop their assets, its just the market normally is completely oblivious of this fact as its par for the course on renewing it. Also the licence renewal will cost 0, ive had that confirmed from Sefton... lots of people getting their wires crossed. Also interestingly since new CEO has been appointed tact may have changed with possibility to now drill without having the new licence renewal from correspondence I have had.

Must be soon here, 4-6weeks. Plus more acquisitions in pipe hinted at... clns at 1.5p must say was expecting stronger action here but at some stage I see 1p breaking and a tag of 1.5p prior to spud

mbev - to reiterate im not disputing who the farminee is. I am disputing that the terms for NUOG wouldnt be anywhere near as attractive as you have been stating in your posts (should they happen to be part of a consortum that farms in here). Its pure fantasy. Very much looking forward to seeing how this pans out. PVR/LOGP are the only sensible investments for anyone wanting expsure to Barryroe at this stage. Hopefully speculation here starts to build next week, 32days on monday since exclusivity period was granted to the farminee. Cant see it lasting longer than another month or so.

Im not disputing the farm in... to be honest I couldnt give the monkeys who it is as long as it happens as thats the catalyst im here for. That said, anyone who knows oil and gas sector would prefer it was Total or Cairn (or any major) over MFD as they are expereinced operators. Its a risky place when investment companies or consortiums then take on the role of operator... delivery suffers hugely and I can give you many examples. I am disputing your comparison with NUOG vs PVR... it is flawed and you keep conveniently skirting around the fact. Agree to disagree & lets come back when the "farminee" is announced.

So you finally agree that your comparisson (NUOG vs PVR upside) is totally flawed until you factor in the resulting equity dilution that NUOG/MFDevCo will have to incur should they be the farminee.... Currently your comparisson has the current NUOG MC with a magic 25% of barryroe in for free... On the contrary you are the one that should be apologising to this BB for trying to cross ramp your other invstment on this BB on a set of incomplete information. Have a good evening. Jarem I notice you and Mbev have been pushing NUOG on here please give it a rest. You are both very active on the NUOG BB which is great but this is PVR BB. Im all for constructive posting but when I see cross ramping that is so very baseless being posted on here it doesnt sit too well with me. The comparisson showing NUOG is flawed until you start to factor in some hypothetical outlay that NUOG/MFD will obviously take on should they farm in. It is going to be a lot of money required and im afraid there is no magic money tree. Debt needs to be repaid. GL

To me it seems like you are ramping NTOG on this BB, which I wouldnt mind if you were actually basing anything on fact.... you are not. its total hogwash to be blunt. You link an arbitary farm in % based on " on the standard for this region"... Totally and utterly ridiculous. Farm in % is totally down to the terms from the farminee on how much capital they are willing to put on the table for exposure to the asset. Normally an agreed cap to carry the asset through a number of drills... If Akers are the ones providing the capital like you are suggesting then how is it NTOG get 25% share, whats in it for Akers? You are suggesting they loan the money? If so then your calculations are very wide of the mark as you should be using EV not MC. You cant magic money or value out of thin air. NTOG/MFDevCO have to take out a very hefty loan to pay for their (extremely hypothetical 50%, 25% net to NTOG). That loan value is again total speculation also. Lets say it �100m. Then you have PVR �40m EV with 140mmbol 2C (assuming 50% farm out leaving NI 40%) LOGP �8m EV with 35mmbol 2C (Assuming 50% farm out leaving NI 10%) NTOG �62m EV with 90mmbol 2C (Assuming Net farm in of 25% to Ntog/50% to MFDevCO) Again all this based on totally pointless arbitary plucked out of thin air values. *My Point Being* You have drawn a comparisson ramping NTOG where some how NTOG is gaining 25% exposure to barryroe for 0 capital expenditure. You fail to factor this slightly important point in to your ramptastic comparisson.

Most likely farm in partners here are Cairn and Total. Pure fantasy of some posters here is frankly astonishing. Cross ramping NUOG by linking and plucking farm in percentages out of thin air then having the cheek to compare that double / triple layered assumption back to PVR's valuation which actually has no assumptions attached.. PVR is a cracking company it owns currently 80% of barryroe, has �25-30m in cash. As we know provisional agreement has been reached by the farminee (singular) on the key commercial terms. As we know the Farminee and PVR have agreed drill location As we know PVR have employed a project manager for Barryroe and are in the process of rig procurement. Lets stick to facts please.

10p is a clear support line here.. we are within 4 weeks now of knowing the outcome of the "exclusivity period" granted to the potential farminee IMO. They rarely go over 2 months and they have had just about one month so far. "Key commercial terms have been agreed" which to me is the meat of the leg work, again I read the last update extremely positively. GL
