It doesnt matter if you are sitting on a huge loss, always ask yourself the question "If I wasnt already holding this stock would I buy in at the current price" If the answer is no then sell... invest in something you believe in.

For the rest of us newbies this is a totally different company now and excited by its new direction and incredibly strong position. I say im a newbie but I have been following this company for the past 5 or so year.

The world owes noone on the markets a favour... you either sink or swim, thats the choice / reality one chooses to accept when they invest. There are more lumps of coal than shining gems and you have to be ultra critical all of the time. I have taken many hits in my time as has every investor who has been around the block. All my own fault.

I guess what im saying is why not try and buy in to the new direction? If not then do yourself a favour and invest in UKOG if you love HH so much.

Sell up and move on then. There will be another new buyer more than happy to buy your shares from you.. if you arent happy with the new direction why hold? Go and buy UKOG.

Just a case of churning out the historic UKOG lovers from this share as those are the only people selling down here.

Trick is buying a share that ticks all the boxes when SP is on floor.... back when SOLO had a death spiral financing + Ritson I just didnt even bother entertaining looking at it as investment (for obvious reasons). Most wouldnt that understand the markets and have been investing for a while.

Now with no debt/death spiral and new management it ticks all of my boxes for investment and then some..!

Making money on the markets isnt easy and you need a robust set of principles to stick too... yes lots have lost a lot of money here but that is through no fault other than their own (being brutally honest). Markets are brutal as is the reality of life. Stop feeling sorry for yourself and dont blame others for your losses in the market.... the moment you start accepting responsibility for choosing to invest is when you start winning... itll mean youll then start tailoring/adjusting your strategy/principles. If you blame others then youll never change your failing strategy.

So suck it up and adjust your strategy, control what you can control or otherwise forever spend your time blaming things outside of your control....

Indeed people dont seem to understand that this is contingent oil (discovered) and not prospective oil (possible explo oil)...

Plus of course huge further upside from C-1 appraisal which could also bolt 150mmboe on.

Solo should have £7m cash post UKOG share sale plus have £2.5m invested in Helium-one pre ipo (which im sure is feasible for them to find a buyer for but if not due to list next year anyway. Normally list much higher at ipo than the pre ipo funding stages).

Thats £9.5m immediate value.

So essentially you have 36mmbol net 2C both from Ruvuma and IoW both with big catalysts / low risk appraisal drills due in next 6 or so months... valued at about £4m currently.... at these oil and gas prices!

The moment will come here at some point when the market wakes up... been here many times before with turnaround stories over the past 5 or so years. The historic shareholders are (perhaps rightly) blinded by sheer frustration at past poor performance (of previous management) that they cannot actually see the cracking position the company is now in (with new structure/management).

As soon as the SP starts responding then theyll all change their tune or disappear from this BB. Happens each and every time.

Isle of Wight is actually classified as 2C contingent (discovery) too and not prospective so already one rung up the value chain from an explo drill and therefore must be very high COS:
