It's taken a long time to clear the overhang from the placing last July but we are finally there IMVHO. There just wasn't enough money flow into the stock in the last half of 2025 as all the timelines for Fuel Cell and Cracker were for this year, 225m shares created a big overhang and a lot of churn by traders, but buyers did chip away at the low price and have finally cleared the overhang IMVHO. Onwards and upwards!

what you are saying still doesn't explain why they didn't sign what is a very simple addendum in October for 1 year. I fail to see why it has taken over 2 months to sign off what would be "We the undersigned hereby extend the existing agreement {agreement name] up to and including 31 October 2026, on the understanding that a new full agreement will be drafted for signing on the expiration of this agreement" that is all it needs to say, no back and forth for 2 months needs to take place because this would have been sorted out 2 months before the agreement ran out, not starting on the day it ran out.

Because Nouryon expect to have the new agreement ready to sign 'in good time' ahead of the extension expiring. It would only be an issue if they didn't have almost all year to get the new agreement ready to sign, but they do.

A while back we heard that Cavitas had successfully produced Oil materially above the target rate (60bbl/d vs 40bbl/d ??) and had advised 'the client' which we believe is Valkor (as nobody else has a well targeting extra heavy Oil in Utah) on field development and 'long run wells'.

At the time, it was suggested here that the existing well pads of 6 production wells and one injection well would be scrapped, because they do not fit a 'long run well' system (the further they go, the further apart they go, leaving gaps of oil between them). The long run wells would be a new design, most likely of parallel runs that did not need an injection well because THOR is inserted into the Oil well, with parallel runs, the further they go they stay the same distance apart, so no Oil is left behind.

On checking the Utah Data Explorer for Oil Wells, I can see that all of the Valkor Well and all of the Tomco well applications have been allowed to lapse and have been returned to the companies as unapproved. I believe this confirms the above plan and, that a new well layout with long run wells will subsequently be applied for by both companies.

I emailed Tomco, Tomco investor relations and Valkor, asking them if this was the case, but neither of them replied as expected. Feel free to ask them yourselves and see if you get a reply, the more people ask the more likely some information will be released.

In the meantime, Valkor is working on getting its mining plant up and running for Quadrise supply. It's possible that Tomco will in the first instance farm into this instead of the wells, as Tomco planned to use the Valkor mine as a template for it's own mine. From QED AGM update "Valkor have now secured the funding required to progress drilling and site development, with their 500bpd oil sands pilot plant expected to be operational in Q2 2026. Representative oil samples for Quadrise testing are expected in Q1 2026 ahead of the deployment of Quadrise equipment to site and the commencement of marketing activities in the USA."

Why did they not sign the extension back in October, before it ran out?

They say "rather than renew. As it was not possible to get this redraft completed in time, it was decided jointly to sign a limited extension for the year".

This could have been done in October, as they had all year to prepare the simple extension agreement, why did it wait until January the next year to sign off a simple extension addendum, right before the trial is expected to get signed off?

Importantly for me is that since October, QED had NO AGREEMENT with Nouryon. Surely the other parties in the Bipartite agreements would want that QED+Nouryon agreement in place before starting the trials, as it is the agreement that guarantees supply of the chemicals that are used to make the fuels they will be trialling?

Images a few days apart, to me is just fine. We don't need hi res, we can see on the images if anything is going on, for example a new stack of equipment or piping will stick out like a sore thumb, as would a new well pad for CH-1. Planes aren't flying surveys every day over the same area anyway, there's no point in them going that for Geological surveys as nothing is changing for years, most of the time the surveys are confidential as they are being paid by a company to survey something specific. I'd just stick to the link I posted, it's plenty enough information for us in between RNS.

Nothing has changed at NT-1, NT-2 or the original NT-3 site for ages.

If you scroll back through the dates using the left arrow until you find a clear day, you can see the three existing well pads very easily as perfect squares. NT-1 furthest right with all the old equipment stacked there, NT-2 just to the left of it, and the old NT-3 further to the left with another square that was it's camp site.

Unless they decide, after seeing the Spod price is over $2,000, or quite possibly over $2,500 by next Tuesday, that it's best to fast-track it through Parliament. There is a procedure that exists to get a motion through Parliament in one day, it's readily available for them to use for the Royalty Law and the Ewoyaa Agreement should they decide they want to press ahead while the Spod price is shooting up and their Royalty is either 7% or the 10% the Minority wanted. The Spod price rising fast is certainly something that could give them a big nudge to get on with it.
