Baits, no problem at all with diversifying your investment portfolin and I wasn’t criticizing your sell at all. More of sharing my thoughts about taking a positing in UKOG at the present time. I held several positions in UKOG through 2018, some I tried to treat as a long investment which resulted in me losing around 50% of the investment and I also tried to value trade UKOG but again I lost money there due to its fallen sp. There are many other non Weald basin companies out there at bargain sp which in a short term would reward you generously for your investment . Anyway, best of luck mate....

Baits, you have placed your bet on the unknown here because UKOG holders been waiting for that RNS for over a month now .. they’ve seen more share diluting while waiting but not the promised RNS and I also believe that with massive number of outsidong UKOG shares out there (and Solo queueing to cash out of HH) you’ll hardly see any meaningful sp spike .. On the other hand , once the work restart at brockham next Monday and people start to circulate new photos/videos from the site .. the sp will go up and many UKOG holders will sell there to ride Angus’s share price recovery

Chamber, a tiny 8% for UKOG holders put them over the moon really !

UKOG is good for the long term but the sp wont see any meaningful recovery before Q2 2019 unlike Angus which I strongly believe that we'll see a bounce back up to above 12p very soon.

Any evidence to support your 'obvious' assumption or is it more about the fact that you sold your position a couple of days ago for loss and now you feel gutted to see Angus sp bouncing back up and you cant re-enter since you already moved into UKOG.......

Smart money re-entering Angus over the past two working days and pushing the share price up.....

DHC, What s foolish thing to say : ‘and thats only if oil flows.‘ So Oil will flow a couple of miles away from UKOG’s site because you hold its shares but it won’t from Brockham ?!!! When you’ll get it .. ITS NOT A COMPETITION ! As DL said yesterday, both companies shares holders should support each other unlike what you are doing here ?? If you don’t have anything constructive to say then stay on your BB , otherwise you’ll start to see us there and believe me there are soooo many things which we could easily pick on....

Its an investment not a saving account or bonds so of course there will be uncertainty, delays, unexpected surprises .....this applies to almost any O&G stock investment if you are after more than 5% pa.

Of course you are entitle to whatever you think about Angus, but I can assure that UKOG is NOT the answer ! I lost SO MUCH money there on several occasions when I tried to treat it as a long term investment.

imo, UKOG stock is a penny pinching day trading until (at least) Q2 2019

And we are back in blue again ... as predicted, the sp was manipulated today by shorters for one last top up before the 7th ! It will only go up from here 👍

I’d never touch UKOG with a stick anytime in the near future, been burned there soooo many times. I wouldn’t be surprise to see ANGS end up blue today, ppl will likely move today’s profit from UKOG to here by the end of the day. 2 more working days to go ! Roll on the 7th !

Only 7 more working days for the the commercial testing to resume at Beckham so I believe this could be the beginning of smart money reentering before the sp bounce back to above 12p next week

Smart thinking gatto ! Lucky you, I averaged down last week buying a similar volume for around 11p .. still a bargain imo !

In my opinion, nothing in the recent RNS was negative, nothing has changed on ground but as a result of market manipulation to shake the weak hands and to get their shares before a bounce back to 13-14p level, we ended up with two group of people, the impatient ones who chosen not to see the FACTS which we already know and gave the blind eye to the progress on ground which we saw in photos and vids posted on Twitter and sold for penuts or loss knowing that they won’t be able to buy again after the holiday for the same sp and the other group of people who did their DD and knew that the sp drop was pure market manipulation and understood (not necessary to agree with) that the workers at Brockham were given 10 days off solely to spend Christmas with their beloved ones; this group of people chosen to hold onto their golden tickets knowing it will see a rapid recovery after the holiday. I think the sp saw a heavy drop which no one ever expected and hit the 10.5p support; now that most of the day/swing traders chashed out, we could get a rapid sp recovery anytime with no update like the one which we experienced a couple of weeks ago. Be patient and think BIG !

Totally agree intowin1 ! It’s an investment not a saving account so people shouldn’t expect everything to be in black and white. If you are comfortable with your dd, got some faith in the company which you invested your money and see progress on ground then you shouldn’t worry or stress about the non sense going on because of 10 days break for workers to enjoy Christmas with their families. Otherwise, cash out and reinvest your money in bonds or perhaps put it in a saving account..

I’ve bought around to this volume yesterday .. imo the share price is heavily discounted atm and we won’t see anything below 12p in two weeks (without RNS).

20 Dec. 2018, Angus gets permit approval for appraisal :

The Environment Agency has given the go-ahead to Angus Energy for appraisal at its Brockham site in Surrey. But the company does not yet have consent for production.

The local campaign group, Brockham Oil Watch, described this as “another hastily made decision to accommodate an operator” that would fail to reassure residents.

In a briefing issued today, the Environment Agency (EA) said Angus had complied with three pre-conditions to an updated environmental permit.

But the EA said one of the pre-conditions, PO 01, on a gas management plan, had been split into two parts.

This pre-condition had been approved for appraisal on 11 December, the EA said. But it added:

“We have not yet approved PO 01 for the production phase”.

...............So the flow testing is good to go and there had been NO permit breaches.In line with the environmental permit and no re-injection is taking place at the Brockham oilfield !
