"Unfortunately it would have to be a hell of a spike for most of us to get out without a significant loss. I can't see that happening this year. Less than 1.5 p and some are still selling down, what does that tell you?"
gkb47, some PIs still selling because after Brockham's RNS (end of June) the sp dropped to 1.43p, 5 weeks after the sp still around the same price so they've given up on what you described as "a hell of a spike for most of us to get out without a significant loss" and chosen to move on and try to get their losses back somewhere else.......
Those sold shares were picked by shorters to cover (the ones who sold tens of millions of shares since the placing) , some LTHs who averaged down to reduce their averages, value traders like will1734 after guaranteed 10-20% profit and of course new investors like our friend betterupthandown who realised that the current share price is ridiculously cheap/undervalued and there is a good chance to double or triple his investment from this level (he already made 80% profit when the sp hit 2p a couple of weeks ago).
imo the sp hit the rock bottom for whoever wants to buy decent volume and it will go up from here. I am almost certain that it wont go sub 1p like many derampers fancy; Obviously it wont go double figures anytime in the short/mid term so unless the remained LTHs average down to 3,4,5p they wont get the chance to break even or with minimum loss anytime soon.
