Placing stock not locked up. SVS took most of the placing at 0.5p and worked it out to their retail clients. These clients haven't bought into the story, just a punt for them. First chance to make a profit and they're selling Fundamentals look fantastic so got to recycle these which will take some time. Then we're off to the races

Tenement is 250km from Sakania and is about 50km from DRC/Zaire border. Doesn't sound like an issue to me

Shalina mine 10km west of the tenement and are extracting 2.5-3.5% cobalt http://www.shalinaresources.com/investors.html So it's in the right place and grab samples indicate cobalt at 2.5%. Further, artisanal miners were spotted on the tenement recently. These guys really know where the stuff is, no wild goose chases for them

As with all these micro cap explorers, there is always newsflow which moves the price quickly. The fundamentals of Cobalt look robust through 2018 and the DRC political situation at least looks fairly stable at the moment DRC accounts for 53% of worldwide cobalt production so, whilst some western companies are getting out, the world needs DRC's cobalt. There just isn't enough being produced elsewhere One to closely monitor, certainly not to stick in a drawer and forget about. They should have decent newsflow in 2018 H1

I hope you're right. These small cap explorers can never get enough cash together to actually dig the stuff out of the ground. Prove up the asset, derisk the opportunity, sell up, move on I've taken a position here as I like the cobalt play. I don't like DRC and all the child labour issues but, if this can be kept clean (and the CEO says it will) then large corporates with an eye to social responsibility may offtake from this. DRC remains by far the largest cobalt producer in the world
