RE: H1 Review and H2 Thoughts5 Jul 2025 22:59
Having been monitoring these events past year, The meeting in Washington come as no surprise I was going to post the meeting 4 days ago. Everyone who is looking at mining, critical minerals etc and trying to put a foot in the market understand that China and Russia dominate quite a few, Titanium being high on that list. So we are certainly as you say sat in the eye of the Storm, but im not seeing the meeting in India later this year being beneficial from the players involved, bar Japan who are in need of Tio2, and perhaps India but US are stockpiling and building their own Titanium supply on home soil with good success.
My eye is learning towards Saudi Arabia, our investor (the one you falsely accused of slating) is 1 of a select few Entrepreneurs who have been given funds (1.7 Trillion. The other is the head of Maaam (2.5 trillion) tasked with The kingdoms 2030 agenda of ending their reliance on Oil and becoming a key player in critical minerals. Maaam creating Saudis first Titanium Smelting plant. I see his acquisition very much Strategic than financially incentive with an eye on getting firmly in the door on Strategic assets both at home and abroad.
I see them as a western friendly nation with both the desire, financial clout and have a very keen interest in Titanium. Japan also, US as I said building a supply of their own.
The Quad minerals initiative is targeting specific materials around microchips, semiconductor looking at the complete stronghold on things like Graphene. Greenland has become a target here, for US. I have investments US based, in CRML surrounding that area.
This isn't me opposing your input, im happy its been brought here as no one has the desire to read my stuff, or care much for my opinion so I just never bothered posting it. But given its here, ill add my 50pence worth. Is this doesn't end up Via Saudi arabia on offtake agreements or JV or even a complete Buyout id be very surprised.
Either way, exciting times
