But given the Amount from my Final Porch Group minus FX fee, Xos inc seems worth a long hold. At least till its fully integrated into the whole Northern American markets.

Why does Cev reference Buffet all the time, this isn't even a yardstick. There are Thousands of very astute investors that you can easily emulate to suit the lifestyle you need, don't follow Buffet follow whats within your Grasp and appetite. Manlord, can call himself a successful investor, but even himself will attest to the fact he made a bad call prior to EEE, was 95% down on this current Company and the future was bleak and the mandate was Copper, buy a mixture of faith, resilience and good fortune comes to those who are brave enough to take it.

See, I do have good thoughts on Manlord. I just don't respect his early treatment and ongoing campaign. But as always, the monent he stops my ongoing aversion to his antics diminish.

Cyprus was my preference that I ran by Cev on RR, he had no such plans and those benefits I explained to him. But the world's ever changing, Spain once open to us looks heading towards the not so beneficial, not so welcoming. Italy, southern parts over run by boats so perhaps northern, close to the lakes like COMO but not so close in proximity the cost of living and house prices are unmanageable. Thailand is great, looking beyond the seedy reputation the health side, private hospitals and the hospitality is amazing and dirt cheap living. But the lifestyle is too extreme, its more Old single man mode looking for some last kicks and cheap beer, its not for me and my wife and for people to visit. Australia too far and Spiders!!!!! Dubai you need an income to match, US too many nutters and Guns so we are really running out of preferably good regions to retire, certainly with the benefits long term and upon death.

Portugal and Northern Italy are where my focus is. Also logistics, Portugal has less airports and favourable locations are 2hr drives etc. But you can see ive put a lot of Energy into it, because its not a walter mitty adventure its a real tangible plan in motion

I get your point Aimgainer, its not as simple as just uptick and go to Cyprus. Takes a bit more reality, my plan is to first buy a property in one of these locations, (Undecided) as a holiday home that can be used all year round but big enough, and well located that a slow intergergrated lifestyle adaption ro the surrounding until my youngest grows into an Adult. Gives me plenty of time, to get my house in order and all plans into action and then inevitably move and retire into a community ive grew into in a foreign county with a fair use of the language and some established local connections, ie groceries, butchers, gardeners and local trades people. Im only 42, so I have that time.

Pretty sure Cev stole my plans on RR about Cyprus, too unstable. Italy and Portugal have much better benefits and less crime and geolocational insecurity with proximity to a lot of the world's issues. I do all the cooking at Home, and I remember that politician who got lambasted on the inflation crisis saying food is relatively cheap you can buy produce at the grocery. I mean he had a point, learn to cook its pretty cheap. Fresh baked store Bread costs next to nothing, ill go through 3 bags of onions 4 garlics and a load of potatoes every week. I have a rosemary bush, basil etc. Everything else is just pastas, rice's spices and meat. All cost buttons but make most things
