Yes, dry dock periods are often very short because they're carefully planned and involve hundreds of people all working at once around the clock. 2-3 weeks very typical, and if you search on Google, well-reputed vendors offer installation of scrubbers within that time window (in parallel with all other dry docking activities).
But, just to clarify, if MSC/Wartsila are doing something really complex like engine upgrades/modifications, that might end up making things take quite a bit longer. No way for us to know, as Quadrise didn't disclose the nature of the "efficiency upgrades" referenced in the recent update — various people on the forums have speculated, but we do not know.
Her latest classification society extension runs out tomorrow, so I guess they'll be taking her off the water promptly.
Good to see some of the preparatory steps for the LONO are finally making substantive progress.
The next big thing is really to ensure that the supply deal is tied up soon, as no matter which specific approach is taken, it's going to take a while to stand up all of the necessary infrastructure, procedures, approvals, etc. Absolutely key that we hear more on that soon.
