As an investor in Fresnillo Plc. I look forward to "the problems" mentioned
by Simple Digressions. Lower ore grades? Yes. Start-up troubles including
NOT getting electrical power in time like this year? Sure. There is always
something.
However at the end of the day Fresnillo Plc. is (and for the coming years
will stay) the LARGEST silver producing company on the globe. And the
real silver production is growing from 53 mln. ounces in 2021 towards 69
mln. ounces in 2023: a whopping 30% GROWTH in silver production in
2023 (compared to 2021).
Also Fresnillo Plc. has the LARGEST silver resources on the globe.
Good to know in a rising price environment: when the price of silver
starts rising too.

Seekingalpha don’t think they can do it, but I prefer to read the official RNS from management with much more knowledge about the matter and guidance is unchanged for 2022 and even 2023:

With Brent in the 70's pressure will be mounting for the EPL to be revised...if it is what happens to the HBR sp I wonder

Tolmount East will significantly increase production once online, also many other huge projects projects outside the UK to be potentially brought online within 24 months. The low hedging prices also winding down...lots of positives.
It's obvious big funds are short energy thinking about potential recessions. However we are not in normal times & under investment in the sector plus the Russia story should keep supply tight & prices elevated. Pressure upwards should start & maybe even a short squeeze. Let's see

The worst year for hedges is over and still the company paid off over 1 billion of debt, paid dividends, 500m of share buybacks, and forecasting upside of 2.2 billion free cash flow...imagine what it will be once the hedging eases off soon..wowzers

2 to 2.2 billion of free cash flow for 2022 was forecast with gas being 220p a therm for the final quarter. Its not far off double that figure now.

Gas up another 6% to 390 a therm. HBR production is 49% gas. Wowzers

Gas 15% up...375 a therm.

Gas 365 a therm and now 13% up today....500% profits. Much better than the oil & that's exceptionally good :))
