Chinese property and stocks have tumbled so there is lots of buying activity from China which is boosting the gold price at the moment .

With China strengthening its ties with Russia forming an east / west divide and with interest rates hopefully coming back down then the POG should continue to rise . China and its population are big buyers of gold . There is a definite concerted campaign to knock the dollar off it's pedestal.

It's a really informative interview with the man who discovered Hav.. It's good to look back at this now that Telfer and Hav. are up for grabs . Callum also talks about the other exciting projects in the pipeline. Sometimes it good to look back when looking forward 👌

If they don't then they might not be able to sell Telfer and then they would have to foot the bill for closing it down in a decade or so, they wouldn't want to be left holding the baby . Nobody would take on Telfer without the whole of Hav. IMHO .

Thanks very much , Jiffy , for the video . It does look as if China wants to bring down the world dominance of the US dollar as you quite rightly suggest . You can't print gold !

It could be a possibility that gold prices double from here to $4000 . This article really does explain the reasons behind that happening. If interest rates start to come down this year and world tensions increase then expect gold to really take off . Silver too is set to really shoot up as it's undervalued compared to gold .
