Tacuma that's fine. Some people, believe it or not, invest in such companies and don't appreciate the differences. On a separate note the share price today really looks like something may have leaked which would upset me because wtf are material news releases for? However I'm willing to over look that if indeed this isn't a false dawn and a self perpetuating rumour! There is another upside as well as some people on here will be pleased to hear, I injured myself quite nastily in gym today so am in a lot of pain now!! Me, I'm simple old school. If the geology was that compelling these would be long gone, regardless of this or any other well. Even with discovery with it may make oilers look again but quotes like "crawling over broken glass" just dont ring true with me. However saying that, I still would expect sign off prior to this well as "they" appear to have got quite far with this and assuming there aren't any non publicised issues or problems, I can't see the senior mgt suddenly stating now "oh hang on a minute even though as a company we signed off on this ages ago, let's just wait and see what that long flagged well finds before we finally commit"??!! All imho and dyor of course.

Look at Cairn they have just got a rig for 4 wells in Mexico this year starting September. I have so much respect for their "attitude". I know this sounds downbeat but this is what concerns me about the Cairn farmed in assets. If they see something they like, they go for it quickly. The fact that they haven't, does not bode well. As ever all imho, dyor and I hope my "hunch" (which is all it is I hasten to add) is wrong. I "thought" the results were due December last year however have since "heard" this was incorrect and they are due end of Q1? Don't know if that is correct of course? This of course does NOT impact the other three licences out for signature.

No you're right Anthony apologies. It's just the conversations had followed another path tonight and I would have done but got fed up with certain posters and forgot. I really am not the kind of person to covet or seek undeserved gratification for copying a link on to a free bb!! I only actually posted it because it appeared to imply that Brexit will provide some impetus for offshore Ireland. I personally still think its an irrelevance because off shore Ireland will happen if the geology is compelling and that will be the main driver. No geology no development!! I'm going to filter anyone who resorts to rude nanes etc simply because it's a waste of everyone's time on here, which is a shame because sometimes the ones that resort to this kind of behaviour, are the ones that tend to rely on emotional insidious positive language and arguements, rather than facts, so hope people are aware of these kind of subtle things. When industry related people in here mentioned this the this industry related response was simply to shout down, ridicule and say they preferred to listen to the BOD guidances. Well done them.
