Bg00 I'm sorry I couldn't help myself as I have viewed with much mirth about this ongoing kn1 saga. I am sure they don't need any permissions for ongoing remedial work as long as within specified approved 'operations' (cost recovery) budget. I am certain though, they will need permissions for additional testing (whether simply for 'non connected' flaring and even more so if producing into pipelibe system) and production profiles (if immediately possible) as is standard procedure. Sorry I couldnt have been more help A. Some one mentioned about 2" production piping? There is loads of this in Texas USA / Appalachians etc. It squeezes out as little as 0.5 bbls per day with hardly a dribble a time (almost indefinitely) but with say 20-30 wells on line can be a nice little earner for some 'small' entrepreneurs/private individuals who just happen to own the land! This isn't the same technique as mentioned earlier I hasten to add! Wish we could do that here in UK!!

To be honest as well, my experience in such countries, is that the minister ain't going to sign off anything until the president is happy for him to do so. Simple. Hence really we are not waiting for the minister we are waiting for the president. Surely such a decision will fall in line with his next election strategies whatever they may be? All imho of course.

Anthony. How long does it take a well to clean up. How long is a piece of string? It could be a day or two or could be significantly longer. If it is significantly longer it could indicate other problems? This new drlling system they're using is relatively new especially in UK however anything that can squeeze out a bit more reserves is gratefully received!! Anthony totally totally agree on Hughes words 're "slow". However if you worked for one of the big companies you may not actually say slow but may use the word "thorough" lol!! What I have found in my own experience is that regardless of the size of company if the deal is so compelling and there is "active" competition then even the really big companies somehow find the resource to get a quick decision. Often b4 'open' data rooms. I obviously do not think we are in that vicinity however, have hope that they will eventually crystallise until told otherwise by EOG mgt. I "know" (rumoured) of similar deals that actually took (at least) 6 months to sign off. Orf out today so don't take non reply as rudeness (anyone but especially Selfish!!) Best of luck all.

Selfish bro. I don't moan. I point out where people's enthusiasm and emotions can sometimes blind the reality that is all. I'd say my moaning to date has been correct? We are 10% down in recent placing which has taken us to atl? There may well have been a lot of people who have not been able to hold on to their shares in this company for whatever reason and could have subsequently made large losses which is a great shame. If u knew my history you'd know that the majority of my portfolio is oil / gas and you'd know some of the winners I hold as well, as I do occasionally post on those threads but not that often, as I don't feel a 'need' to, as the respective mgts are doing everything right imho.
