I actually agree with GGGs time horizons except for Cas 4, there should be some efficiency leeway included there, so was hapoy with the concepts supplied by john. IMHO.

JBL, I think they are two things you are referring to.

One is (a new) LTIPS scheme and the other is just a buy one get one matched (?!) but not free (lol) additional scheme. I'll re read later.

I don't think he did say that JBL can you re-clarify? It seems to me he said that for the company to match a personal purchase there has to be financial consideration from the executive hence this matched share wasn't free? That's how I read it anyway?

GGG, I would have thought a decision was made at acquisition no investment onshore? Respectfully why take the risk and limited HR for such small incremental potential revenues? It is really like a fly on windscreen for Shell and I'm sure there are literally 100's of similar bolt onshore company wide just as appealing which get ignored as well? IMHO.

Good posts at 09.40 GGG, I fully support all of your points re TXP performance but I'd soften a little regarding some of the language although I do refer to PB as Gonzo so maybe that is just as strong?

One point though and that is why the Central acquisition was so screamingly obvious, (would have preferred on a more modular based CASCA less exploration ambitious (negotiating delay rather than cancelling of course) programme, whilst cash should have been saved, but 100% Shell would but be bothering with possible 10mmcf gas wells onshore Trinidad!! Hence there should actually be a reasonable chance of some upside and, whilst I am of course very cautious about "pure" exploration (after all of the muck ups already!!) , some appraisal (and combined exploration) wells could really significantly lift things here. IMHO.

That is not to excuse in any way whatsoever, the atrocious management performance to date, here of course!!

Re TRIN, my issue was that they didn't have enforceable break up costs which confused me so want to know why that standard term was treated as such? No problem with the irrevocables not breing enforceable because they will always included get out clause in the case of materially higher alternative.

Its actually amazing how supposedly experienced o&g personnel are happy to discuss things such as Shell throwing abandonment in "at last minute" and not knowing potential revenues as justifiable reasons for the "funding" f ups that have occurred here.

I have had such a good belly laugh recently, seeing such reasoning as valid for the mess we find ourselves in now. If indeed "management" were hijacked with such "late information" one has to wonder why on Earth such basic issues were not initially clarified at the offer stage??!! Continually SHD!! However I'd cut back on some of the "language" used as my mother always taught me, not to mock people who obviously had difficulties coping with simple things in life and thank my lucky stars I was able to?

I do agree though, talk of removing Gonzo is quite far fetched, (and at this point in time may not be the best thing anyway) as that "boat was in dock" last AGM, IMHO and, the opportunity was then, to raise SH requisition re LTIPS and confetti reduction/restrictions, as pointed out by me at the time, also IMHO.

Look, i think it's 5% for a short notice GM but a 10% or larger shareholder(s) can block it can't they? However, if you have a 10% requisition, then that can't be blocked, I think. Someone AI that!! IMHO.

We would have been in a far far better position had the team had the experience necessary to bring on such a relatively simple development.

However we are where we are. It appears too much "power" and decision making left to one or two key inexperienced people. Re oil casca 3 (?) Let's hope there is genuine upside there and not another "distraction" to hide otherwise "bad" well results - as that would be potentially excellent.

I only really look at the big picture and whilst production has "levelled" out now, debt certainly hasn't over the same period (but hopefully will no longer be increased!) and neither has confetti shares.It is probably a good high-risk purchase at this price, but for long suffering share holders who believed all the previous hype, it's going to be a very tough journey to recoup all initial investment. All IMHO and best of luck all.

Wh the only JVs they'll be invited to join would be if anyone fancied their acreage and it would be a involve cede of operatorship IMHO. I cannot see them having anything of interest but would be a great and welcome surprise. All IMHO.

Well I've seen absolutely nothing of that kind on that site on all the o&g boards I frequent so don't recognise anything of that nature. Whatever, I personally think is a very general comment that i only relevant for a very tiny minority. Enough said anyway.

That's your opinion Stas but my personal experiences are that it is frequented by more knowledgeable posters and less trader types. Just my experience and the reason why, when often questioned I only post on TXP boards this was my personal justification but i didnt mention it because that would have been shot down as well, as this used to be quite a good respectful board.

You often find the respect is lost when companies share prices suffer whether it is ADV or LSE and in reality your response regarding ADV is a little childish as well with irrelevant "name calling" and they are now pretty similar. Just my opinion.
