The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Shaml - I believe Coldspy has a crack team of lawyers ready to do "something" - but I personally cannot fathom what - so give them a chance to explain the next stage of their strategy.
Coldspy - you castigated me many many times on here for putting my honest POV here, questioning my motives and stupidity?
Previously you referred to having a crack legal team in place - to do what - I personally don't know exactly - but was thinking that shouldn't you be firing this alternative up now?
So, for my clarification and many others on here - what are your exact intentions and when will you be starting this legal route please or, have your plans changed now?
I am genuinely interested.
I don't agree - I think it's linked to the ZX80 system Paul Gaay has linked into his office and communications with "that tower" that was about 6 months too late?
All IMHO of course.
It's the equivalent of the bogof's in sipp - potentially for all staff in UK. IMHO.
We've done this 100's of times before - it is a pre-agreed monthly purchase and is certainly allowed under "insider trading" rules as administered in a specific fixed manner.
Cornish oil - the fact that bank holiday yesterday in Canada - irrelevant - this is oil and gas - you never stop for bank holidays - if they have something to say material - they should work through whatever it takes to bring to market on time. The fact that it is BoD makes no difference - but in this case the consultants write it and PG just signs off on it - no big deal. IMHO.
not just that geld, i find that generally speaking, a lot of the professionals here are not as happy as non professionals (now - maybe not a year ago - me excepting of course - because i'm always miserable ****!) because respectfully, building kit like this in stranded places - of which t&t absolutely is not - is pretty standard practice for the o&g industry.
i think various things said by "management" versus (among other things) conflicting evidence of kit being mobilised over last year have contributed and "insulted" people who know what, where and when things "should be", which has led to a distrust in the ability of the "management" - all imho of course.
we do seem very very close now - but it is still very frustrating to see that guidance can be perhaps better conveyed or informative at times. again all imho.
Funnily enough jrlomax - that is what they are paid to do - with a reasonable expectation it will be done professionally, efficiently and on time, with good communications to match. Looking at it from my perspective, none of those four criteria appear to have been delivered. IMHO.
Hi trade - if you're referring to me claiming Rosyton to be a duster I'd just like to correct - I was definitely the first - after first test run of Rosyton to question the supposed "fried gold" this was purported to be.
I was very unhappy that we had a dilutive placing for such a "questionable" strategic timing and feel "probably" the side track will limp over commerciality threshold - but if it doesn't I'd be very concerned regarding teh small volumes I'd attributed to Rosyton. I've always thought this field will not produce the volumes originally "put around" by "certain people" and continue to stand by that statement. I think I put 10-15 MM recoverable in my own estimates for NPV of Touchstone - about 3 years ago from memory - (time just flies by when holding such an unfrustrating share as this!!) which could as yet be seen to be optimistic. All IMHO.
However let's not worry about that for now - we need Casca news as soon as possible - then hopefully - when real visibility of potential revenues can be ascertained - real obvious changes required - to the structure of this company need to be implemented - which should then start to see realistic share price valuation for TXP. Again all IMHO.
100% agree - seriously what has Paul ever said that could be relied upon?!
Genuinely sad to say, you find me one thing and I'll find you ten, which were at best inaccurate and more likely just plain crap.
But the guy has chutzpah - because I'd just be too embarrassed to continue presenting etc - if I were him anyway.
All IMHO of course.
If Montara comes good and doesn't keep on p***ing things up JSE has to be the most undervalued E&P company listed in UK - IMHO.
SimonT - respectfully a UT trade is what it is - it could just as easily have been a punter wanting to buy a certain amount of shares expecting "news" by the time trading started Tuesday. Do you seriously think it was the "mms" or even perhaps the "masons"?!
If that is what we are having to resort to discuss re share price movements - regarding share price "manipulation" - something don't smell right in Denmark?!
Singapore - I agree 100% - I think a lot of the posts this weekend were more cathartic and perhaps "red wine" driven as opposed to factual - or else the "one of the best in business" (copyright Deltalo) will better be "lawyering up". I, of course say that, with a very very big "tongue in cheek".
PS in my humble opinion - the short talk really is utter "straws" crap.
Seriously best of luck all and as ever absolutely all IMHO and always DYOR regardless of what gets posted up on here or other similar places.
A sad state of affairs but hopefully we will get some good news eventually and current situation (TXP) self created I'd say. IMHO, DYOR.
Two points.
1. Totally agree re Johnno post - however it must be said "some" of "us" have been criticising the BE'er Emperor (starting about 2 years ago) pretty consistently regardless of share price - so I think I should be recognised as being a consistent miserable b*tard ALL of the time?!
2. Just because news of "the" test takes a long time to come to market or, that it is taking so long to "conclude" absolutely does not mean it will not be disappointing or sub commercial. I'd say I would feel "conned" if that were the case but it may still be the case?
As ever all IMHO and dYOR.
Re level 2 talk - from my perspective this is just useful if you want to buy stock in the very near future "large volume" bid asks can be placed and cancelled at any time as can iceberg sales purchases be "hidden" within this detail hence I don't take too much notice of the limited information available in Level 2 - just my opinion.
Re buys sells etc - generally speaking the market can be "manipulated" to a certain degree if a big buy sell (II volumes) SINGLE large transaction is being "worked" through market but fundamentally all market makers do is "make a market" and if the price is dropping generally it means there are more sells than buys and likewise if price is rising - regardless of individual "analysis" of what they think are summaries of individual buys and sells". Best of luck all.
Oh apologies just re read message below should have said ..."no firm news is NOT in conflict with what BS'er Emperor recently said".... - 2 mistakes - sorry!!
Yes and whilst no firm news is in conflict with what BS'er in chief recently said - there does seem to be a conflict between whet he says and "reality" which certainly does not help investor "confidence" in company - and encourages traders which will impact share prices in short term to such a relatively illiquid stock.
This is a constant frustration and feel the share price could be better managed with more consistent strategy and wonder what these "new" PR teams have actually changed because from my angle things are no different since they started? IMHO.
John000XXXX exactly - but you've got to admit the language is a bit "ambiguous"?
100% agree - but I have long given up trying to interpret the type of language oft used - I just end up shaking my head in disbelief - and as you rightly point out it could mean nearly anything with that regard. Sometimes it's like a chat in the pub?
I just took it to be "verification" of the networks already built and completed connections between (however also felt this should have been long ago confirmed (?) so was puzzled but didn't bother to mention because could simply have been me getting the wrong idea?) - but worst case you could infer they were trying to actually establish the physical connections "required" - I just think (and sincerely hope) it was poorly written?
I inferred that the start-up commissioning phase - what 6 weeks ago now - was at a far more advanced stage than it obviously has been and I am used to for a project of this size and complexity - and got to admit it seems a little more than commissioning for this length of time? Possibly some bits and pieces may have been not quite where they should have been? I do think we are not far from completion but have absolutely no facts to back that up - just a hunch that it can't take much longer - surely?
Just my opinion. and NOT trying to de-ramp!
