The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
So legitimate "management" short comings are not up for debate Corpse.
Do you not think that a "positive only" debate ceases to become truly informative?
I am "here" in spite of the "management" and hopefully because of strength of assets which will eventually be realised.
I caveat that with
1. Royston still not been stated as commercial but hope and expect it to be. The footnote in recent accounts regarding start of testing, should have at least given some form of indication of when testing results would be released i.e. not by date but project delivery (in entirety or by section) and I realise there is no legal reason to do so but, in light of the "perceived ambiguity" this statement appeared to has set - I think that is a fair (negative?) statement now.
2. Cascadura has the upside everyone hopes for.
3. "Management" communications and operational delivery needs to get better and recognised as such.
All IMHO.
Sturm - it's no excuse at all - was just stating as in your helpful glossary I had already had multiple profiles done.
As I say - it's ok for you to refer to me as stupid and "unmanly" for "not selling up" - but equally all I was doing was calling a prat a prat - so really don't see what is wrong with that?
It would be interesting to see if you were willing to state such insults to my face if we were to ever meet as opposed to behind your laptop?
Good to hear you ignoring me and I will accord you the same now, as long as you keep your personal stuff away from the bb as well - then I have no problem.
I'll also gladly educate you of some of your technical ignorance(s) / mis-understandings already illustrated on Discord - if I'm feeling generous in the future.
Well I'm still waiting for that great "market" economist Sturm (please confirm which "market"?!) - to answer my response to his recent messages on here and provide further guidance as to why he close a PE of 5 - simple question - as he ridiculed me for pointing this out - but still cannae see his reply justifying this? They must have missed my last reply as they are so intelligent and I just cannot understand what they were talking about - it seems - so to repeat one LAST TIME then hopefully we can move on with me better edumacated?
..."Sturm how strange??!
1. You tell me I'm not advanced enough to understand my point regarding doomed Western currencies (on completely another bb?!) yet don't answer my questions or observations?
2. You say Royston is in for free and will not impact the share price at all many times (INCLUDING YESTERDAY) then comment later (ALSO YESTERDAY) it will have an impact if dry across all zones but that will be "temporary"?!
3. You then attempt to "shame" me about name calling, ffs if a twat is a twat let's call it one, what's the big deal? Yes, I have been psychologically reviewed on both professional and personal basis many times, the first time when 15 from memory, so I am perfectly aware of my "profiling" thanks.
4. Why don't you just apologise for being rude then I'm sure I can guide you in a more friendly way when you talk cr*p again?!"...
Waiting for your response buddy?
Lexion, has that information re coho been rns'd as such or anecdotal?
On phone, so not able to easily look at rns statements.
Apologies.
Sturm how strange??!

Got Internet intermittently! Cheers John and uptick.
Respectfully filter me if you don't like the way I converse?
I've been pretty straight about my assessment of TXP.
The Bod is too large, inexperienced in this region for a company of this size and evolution and, this this has meant the projects in hand have not been brought to their current position anywhere near as efficiently as they could have been - imHo.
They have made a multitude of mistakes both operational and "strategic" (from what I can gather and imHo)- however I continue to hold as already suffered significant opportunity costs by doing so - and realise they are finally finally about to (hopefully) achieve the long awaited "wall of cash".
I hold significantly more shares than Sturm (as is stated on Discord anyway) and will continue to do so am not a de-ramper - just people don't like my posts where I dare to criticise management.
It's strange but every time there is a positive post about how many billions we're going to be making blah blah blah this is upticked fifty times but woe betide anyone who makes an honest critique especially when some people were stating over a year ago a placing when the share price was around £1.5 would not be a bad thing and getting shot to f*** for daring to say such a thing - and then a placing arrives a year or so later at 55p or whatever - but you know - that looks to have been a good strategy - current market considering?! Right off out now so genuinely best of luck John!
As ever all IMHO, dYOR.
PS apologies for typos in first post that was written in bed on phone - I now have access to laptop but am off out for rest of day so don't take non reply as rudensss or implicit acceptance.
I'd have thought Sturms first daily (advisory) trader meeting was long over now and he would have a minute or two to reply today?
Best of luck all and kind regards to all readers of this board.
John - why you entering an argument you know nothing about?
Sturm was extremely rude to me before on here and I was gentleman enough to let that one go but then he takes another dig. Quite frankly idiots like this are boring and I shouldn't waste my time reply but...
Some people should understand who they are being rude to in first place FFS.
As I say to Sturm pretty simple.
1. Explain why as an "economist" you had many ways of valuing TXP but chose PE ratio? Don't conflate this by my saying this was disputing or even attempting to put a value on TXP - because market perception / sentiment is far far more important than any "scientific" method of valuing such companies at this stage of their evolution!! I also made no comment on here whatsoever - about whether or not sidetrack would be "successful"?
2. Explain how long you think the Petro-dollar will survive - I personally think I will out live this and if it does collapse I suppose you think this will have no impact at all on the "general market" that you seem to be an expert on as having specified which market you actually work as an economist for - or other tied USD currencies ??!!
3. Please explain why you think the western currencies will be a better investment than "growing eastern" ones?! Yes I do understand the inter-relationship between the yuan and the USD as well and do understand that USD weakening will likely impact China in the short to medium term as well.
Serious questions and am genuinely interested in reply.
You didn't actually answer any of my questions, twat.
What "market" are you a (big, major) ecomomist for, said in a very very brainy voice?
Whilst we are at it, how much longer do you seriously think the Petro-dollar will survive?
I personally think it will be non recognisable in my lifetime.
So what currency do you carry your main investments in?
I'm assuming Euro or Nor?
Why do you think they have a future compared to other "growing economy" currencies?
Please continue to explain why you'd value a micro cap oil company (supposedly with massive growth in production profiles over next couple of years) using PE formula as I've still to hear any justification why ? I wasn't preferring any value for TXP at all just asking why you'd use such z nonbush way if valuing it? I'm assuming being an economist you've used many other methods of valuation but just chose to arbitrarily quite PE?
Whilst we are getting amused by posts on Discord, I'd like to add some of your technical comments and mis-understandings were very amusing to me as well but, honestly I cannae be bothered to list them!!
I am genuinely interested in your long term (big economist views) on western currency thingumies though lol as you claim to be qualified to comment on these??!!
Get back to your pretend computer games mate where yiou can act a big big warrior, lol, "qqing" away about nasty people on LSE who know more than you do about o&g valuations on their **** wipes!!
What fing market you talking about sturm?
"Market economist" talking about price earning ratios for a micro cap o&g company. Why 6 why not 5 why not 7?
Honestly mate.
In all seriousness you just sound like a half wit twat, still to realise what little he actually knows and yet still thinks he's a useful addition to "the market".
Price earnings ratios, ffs lol.
Get back to your computer games this is real life not some twatty free bb warrior universe.
You unequivocally don't need a rig to test.
For some bizarre reason this was actually a discussion point on discord and I didnae bother pointing this out but thought I would here for the less "knowing".
No but I think Sturm may have been a (brief) girlfriend of mine in the past they way they worry for me!!
Jesus.
I had to triple take to check the year and now here's hoping there Is some positive news soon.
Sturm absolutely no need to question my masculinity bro', I can assure you of that. LOL.
Lol Sturm what do you seriously expect? Surely this is a good opportunity to keep on buying, eh?
Poor old PB, BS'er in chief completely out of his depth.
IMHO.
Delatalo very quickly unlikely what normally happens is CALE carry the programme for pre-agreed budget allocation for that asset and when or if this is exceeded IOG then start paying their respective equity share?
Was Nailsworth part of this phase 2 project and is it still going ahead as planned and if so how does this impact the 65MM funding?
All IMHO, DYOR.
Ginmunger if I may suggest to help your "understanding"?
Maybe the reason why the share price is so weak is because whilst there are probably great assets here - the management (excepting G&G) look to be lowest quartile which can lead to significant reduction of "expected returns".
The opportunity costs for holding these shares has been very large and maybe based upon verbal assurances from the CEO - which many times have proven to be crap?
Hence, you've got a pretty tired long term investor base who will likely sell into any rises as they are simply fed up with waiting for continual promises never to be achieved?
Also on a totally different reasoning - share owners may have a multitude of private reasons to sell as well, due to their own personal circumstances which shouldn't be too hard to "understand"?
I hold a 7 figure sum here and will continue to do so and find best not to worry about what others (except "management"!) may or may not be doing?
All imHo.
You could add "not really having a clue" to that list as well, HLM. Unlucky for him huh?
