Also note how BP's RAVENSPURN partners PERENECO have literally 4 fields within 5 miles distance, and also PREMIER OIL have 2 fields within 5 miles distance. INEOS seems more likely because of the sheer acquisition they been doing and being the closest in proximity. So the "tight hole status" makes even more sense. INEOS is even closer to us than BP are, and already have a Gas field in production within 8 miles of our license. AND are actively purchasing other Licenses. All makes sense xD

The company that went on Billion dollar buying sprees this year. I don't think it deter, more likely the opposite, The fact our broker mentioned it as a catalyst in multiple research papers and then suddenly its kept secret. just wondering why... Perhaps BP more likely to Farm In with CLNR if Ravenspurn is successful, and do not want any other company to gain valuable data from the Ravenspurn results any sooner than they can. within <1.5 month's an RNS or news stating BP'S Ravenspurn results were in but were to be kept secret or "closed" ? Im sure I didn't dream about it, but can no longer find the RNS/news... The result from Ravenspurn was always referred to as a very important event from our brokers and also CLNR.

Nice comparison wordog, so JOG 10 bagged within 7 months of finding farm in partner. CLNR also has only 7 months to find a partner, its a no brainer really.

In a few of those news articles posted below, even though the acquisition deal has been done most of the actual transactions are taking place early 2018, If I recall correct, thats when the Budget 2017 tax policy changes take effect. Unless there is something else about early 2018 I have missed? Seems a likely date on or before to have our own farm in deal in place - with May 2017 being the absolute latest deadline subject to license rules.

Todays RNS was released at 3:30pm? Suspect we will get a lot of early morning trading. Then again Algys had loads of Oil and Gas companies, perhaps a stronger rise will follow due to the news being digested overnight.

Another interesting part of todays RNS "Accordingly, both the Promote Period and the Initial Term of each licence will run until 30 November 2018, subject to a farm-out being achieved by 31 May 2018 It looks like CLNR must find a farm in partner by May 2018, so we have some calculated time frames to go by. More likely we will get a takeover as soon as the new North Seas Tax Incentives are applicable. < 6 months from now.
