Thats a handy site wordog.
"Proven reserves :
Those reserves which on the available evidence are virtually certain to be technically and economically producible (i.e. having a better than 90% chance of being produced)."
Schlumberger GIIP
"gas initially in place, the volume of gas in a reservoir before production. "
It looks that proven reserves has more to do with the efficient accessibility of the gas than the actual gas being there...
Also
"P90, P50, P10 are often used in place of 1P, 2P, 3P.
P50 represents the quantity for which there is a 50% probability the quantities actually recovered will match or exceed the estimated recovery value. The same definition applies to P90 (90%) and P10 (10%)."
If the 2.4TCF is P50, doesnt the info above mean we can only Match the 2.4TCF or exceed it? in which case we could end up with more than 60% of UK total gas reserves?
CPR also stated CLNR P10 is 6.2TCF
