The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
It is probably my age but my first thought on reading the news was;

All, in case not seen there is an interview on V O X under the Video section done by Paul Hill with Adam and Alistair. Worth a watch for any investors left here!
Interestingly Paul kept saying ‘we’ like he was invested here but he has not declared that previously.
I think if we are patient things can turn around.
Nice little plug for us on V O X (I got link via twitter) with Paul Hill interviewing Jamie Constable at Singer. Worth looking for it. Paul seems interested too so no doubt will get mentioned again in future updates.
Not posted here for a while.
I was surprised at the anger / vitriol over the placing yesterday as most folks new this was coming at some point.
Yes there were warrants issues with the new shares but these are are a price a good bit higher than the current SP and only have a duration of six months and therefore obviously align with a possible Pioche sale completing.
Remember from recent Half Year report SRES had £183.9K left at end March so some funds were needed but PC obviously wanted to reduce the dilution for a larger placing.
There has also been very good news since the Half year results with the Caltrans approval and (significantly) the option to sell the Pioche project and retain an NSR.
Whilst not a done deal until the cash is received there is a good chance that SRES will receive the equivalent of around £800K if the sales goes through post the 20% payment to the intermediary and converting from $ to £.
Pioche was a recent and unexpected bonus and if it happens then the Company will be funded for at least 2 years allowing them to hopefully get an offtake deal for CS and no doubt to do further work on Hazen too.
These are tough times for many AIM stocks, I could list lots that are up to a tenth of their recent valuation.
Whilst there are one or two idiots that post here most folks are decent and I wish those all the best and that things come good here.
Hi Moniman, the recent SP recovery in AVCT is almost entirely due to the phase 1A trial of their Precision chemo prodrug. A very strong Investor Meet presentation per Results on Wednesday had multiple pointers to things going well. The Chinese connection is for one of AVCT’s JVs (Affyxell).
For disclosure I hold both but AVCT and ORPH and pleased to see both recovering from large SP drops.
I have seen a few clueless folks here talking about AVCT like they were an LFT only play. Their LFT has had issues but they have way more things going for them than that.
I felt it was worth pointing this out.
Hoping for more contract news here, Cathal said they come in waves so let’s hope!
Mostly good but does bellow suggest DE not started yet when we had hoped folks were getting the higher dose;
Post-period end the Company announced that the Phase I trial of AVA6000 pro-doxorubicin had advanced to the next dose cohort following a positive review of the safety data from the dosing of the first cohort by Avacta's Safety Data Monitoring Committee ('SDMC'), which comprises the clinicians currently recruiting patients. Following this review, the SDMC recommended that the clinical trial continued as planned and escalates to the next dose of AVA6000 at 120mg/m2.
ClaireM, nice to see some support wrt the uncalled for negative comments I have had from this poster. In all the years I have been here folks have pretty much been civil barring the odd joust with Safetrader!
I normally do filter posters who, for example, deramp one of my shares but if I am getting criticised personally I want to know about it.
On a more positive note yes wouldn’t it be great if we got news soon. As to how the SP reacts that will be down to the terms of the deal itself. Cash up front and firm offtake numbers all will be seen positively I believe.
All the best….
rodster, ah so you cranking up the insults.
Your post reads like something a five year old wrote and you have the nerve to say my posts are like pish. It took you several days to respond so thought you could have at least strung together some legible sentences.
Sheldrake, the esteemed poster SGD37 did a very detailed study based on Kirkland and their deal with Boral and recall he got ball park of a penny. I have no doubt higher numbers could be calculated even based on initial 100k tons per annum. Your numbers could be correct of course; time will tell.
rodster, you must realize in the last 12 or more months there has been very little to analyze RNS wise. Most here have complained about the slowness in news-flow.
Just because I have a reduced holding I don't suddenly want SRES to fail nor am I looking to repurchase. I am absolutely hoping we do sign a JV with the CRMC.
You seemed to take offense because I and several posters had modest price targets in the event of a JV. I said I thought we would do well to get to 1p; that is a circa 4 bagger from here. Time will tell though and if we go higher great but I prefer realistic targets.
By the way your posts are really hard to decipher so you might want to read them before pressing Post Message....
Safe - just to clarify I was referencing a comment from rodster who suggested that you 'need to get behind PC to get the SP'.
My view is investors can hold whatever view they want on their investments but preferably not getting too personal with any criticism.
Nice to see the SP slowly waking up!
rodster, your sly dig noted and dismissed as your usual twaddle.
Perhaps you could explain if you think I am too supportive or PC or not supportive enough?
You ask Safe to get behind PC at the same time as saying he is spot on for being critical; it makes no sense whatsoever.
Losesalot; "So it was buried in the audited results and you wonder why the SP didn’t move ffs"
Hardly buried, it was mentioned on page 1 (yes the first page) under New Growth Opportunities, then further info given in the Chairman's statement.
Good luck to you
And to add to SGD27's point, when the info was announced in the Results RNS the SP did not react so don't think there is anything to see here as the saying goes.
What is a little more interesting is someone paid .21p for 2M shares a little earlier. I have been getting NT for dummy buys in last day or two with my HL account so seems to be some interest.
