Hi Ageos, great posts so thanks for that. Interested in you Bay State comparison plus clarifying the term massive which one or two seemed to misinterpret. Look forward to any further updates you can give in the future.
Horny, well done to you on making money on other stocks. This is why we invest so I wish you well and that RMS has been quite some performer in last few days. I had bits of success (IAG and ORPH) but not big sums.
Quite a few folks here predicting stuff is about to happen and I am a little sceptical that they know this. Having said that we know a number of Perlite samples have been sent out so very possible we can have some action on the back of that soon.
I knocked up a post recently ref the recent RNS but the loss of chat on the LSE site put paid to that and it disappeared never to be seen again!
My take is that Patrick has to comment on anything abnormal encountered during the drilling. When the assays are announced we will likely see gold and silver numbers for the various metres where we encountered mineralization. Due to the issues that PC flag the assays might not contain values for ‘some’ sections of the core due to the poor recovery so they had to flag this up.
The other observation I have is that in the original 27th Oct RNS they talked about a planned 600ft core hole, circa 182.8M. Monday’s RNS said the hole was terminated at 104M after passing through the mineralised / target zone. The hole in the 1980s hit mineralization from 82.3M to 89.9M (7.6M); then end of that particular hole. Perhaps we will have had success deeper than 89.9M but it seems reasonable to conclude that Patrick was hoping the mineralization was deeper than actually encountered.
So now it will be all about the assay grades and depth. Obviously depending on the answers to that PC will take a view on whether we drop it or if we have something viable.
Personally since we found the CS Project that has always been my primary interest and that is still the case.
If Clayton fails to deliver then we still have upcoming attempts with Newark (Nevada) and Bakers (Western Australia).
Been out for a walk and just back home. Did a dummy buy for 2M then 1M and NT on both.
Did a dummy sell for 1M and was offered .3p on the nose - that is pretty promising eh!
Hope some really good news is due, that large purchase yesterday was encouraging.
SGD, good info on Boral and if seems to me to be very significant. They will have the funds that could buy CS for relatively small beer for them but be huge for us - their stated aim in the links you posted include getting access to more Fly Ash replacement - could not be much clearer that they would be interested in us and not hard to imagine they are the Company who approached us already. As you say SGD am sure they would not turn their nose up at the Perlite giving it fits right in with their type of Product. These guys have all the infrastructure you would need to supply Pozz and Perlite to dispersed clients over a large area.
Some pretty uninformed posts today will say no more than that!
As I already said there was next to no mention of Pozz testing in that last RNS. I contact the Company about that 'test pour' and it seems this is an initiative we (SRES) are doing ourselves to get some data/info etc and it is not being supplied to an end Customer. So take away that Pozz reference and all we are left with is that we are doing infill and expansion drilling and why would we do that you have to ask!
Lord Byron, your maths need a bit of a fine tune - smiley face!
Good luck all, MMs taking the 'P' today asking nearly .27p but only offering just above .23p..
Hi SGD/Terrafin, ticked up your posts as I am thinking same as you guys.
It does not seem fanciful to imagine that somehow the funding for CS is being worked on, we know that in a recent interview Patrick mentioned an unsolicited approach. There was a lot of detail in the PM projects in that RNS and also lots of info on Perlite. There was actually next to no info on the Pozz, say compared to the May RNS where there was mention of large bulk samples going to be taken. Let's hope there is a deal to be announced in the coming weeks. We 'might' just have news on funding for CS and Offtakes with the possibility of success from one or more of the 3 upcoming PM drills thrown in for good measure and we know these attract investors.
Fingers crossed and I will say I think Patrick is doing a good job.
MMs asking .267 just now so looks like it could be a good day for the SP.
SGD27, just want to say I always look out for your posts as you are one of the best here!
Off topic (ish) but as I mentioned here recently am invested in a Company called ORPH which has done quite well for me.
They are looking to offload a non-core stake in a couple of vaccines they have in a JV with a Company called Seek group.
There is (was!) a competitor called Biondvax who also were working on a Universal flu vaccine. I was reading on the ORPH board earlier that Biondvax just announced their tests have flunked and yesterday this Company that was worth $500-600M lost 86% in value;
https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=nasdaq+and+biondvax
My only reason for mentioning this is to say how blooming risky shares investing can be. I bet there are a lot of folks nursing big losses there in a Company that was probably stacked full of experts in their field. All very sobering and just emphasizes the importance of spreading your investments, betting what you are comfortable with etc....
Right will shut up now till next week!
Same to you, nice reply. Let's see where we are by December. I believe Patrick reads this board (in fact I know he does) and will know that at least some shareholders are going to drift away from this stock if they see no progress or at least updates this quarter.
Hi comeonsres2, firstly I respect your views and you are of course entitled to them.
I take a somewhat different view on things.
Firstly I don't see the argument that we need a specialist Sales person / team. We are not selling cars here we are selling Industrial minerals. For both Pozz and Perl there is a very specific Market place / limited list of Customers. I believe PC is already dealing with all the prospective Customers and has been for some time hence the 2 MOUs (for Perlite) and also the fact he has had several large Cement Companies test our product.
So really it is not a case of giving these Customers the big sales pitch and convincing them they really need to buy our product. Firstly we needed to be in a position to supply (i.e. we needed the mining Permits) and that has taken a lot longer than many of us would have liked. And yes, perhaps PC and the team might have pushed things along sooner on the permit front - without being close to all the conversations it would be hard to judge that. Oh and one little thought on that, I have felt all along that PC knows the longer he takes to tie up any deal (for Pozz) the higher the price he will get due to the fly ash crisis. Frustrating yes but maybe taking an extra period of time might end up being very beneficial in terms of product pricing.
Then we need a product that performs for the Customer. We have done any amount of lab testing of Pozz and Perl and it seems that both are high quality products. So why have we not tied up the deal/s yet?
That is the great unknown but PC says these guys want to test larger samples and this is what is happening in the background is what we are told.
We have to prove to these Customers we can supply too and hence the £1M raise and much of that money will get things moving on the equipment front (contract mining and crushing etc).
On this subject my take is to let Patrick do his thing, I will be giving this up to the end of December and if things have not progressed I will be reducing further (I already reduced somewhat for personal reasons and the need not to have so much tied up in a very small MCAP Company).
On the Precious Metals drilling front then I too have concerns that they don't spend too much on these projects. PC says spend will be on specific projects and any drilling targeted in such a way to minimize spend and increase the chance that we can find something worthwhile and thereby realize some value for these projects - maybe attract JV / Earn in type deals.
Bottom line is I sympathize with all those who are frustrated at the delays / the time things have and are taking. But bottom line for me is that I trust that PC is a decent bloke and will be doing his best for all shareholders; not least himself as the largest shareholder to my knowledge.
As I say respect all opinions but just wanted to give my thoughts. All respectful views are welcomed by me.
Have a good weekend all, lots of good sport on the box.
I too have no issues with dissenting voices so long as folks are respectful.
It seems to me the SP is very cleverly being manipulated down. Even now if I try a dummy buy it goes NT or maybe you get a quote for 1M at the top of a very wide spread.
The declining S.P brings out the negative comments / sentiment and folks are more likely to sell than buy.
Like everyone else here I would like to hear some news from the Company but I guess we all will need to wait until the RNS pops up. FWIW I still have faith in PC to deliver the goods on the CS Project...
Fortunately for me have another Company that is doing ok for me and nearly offsetting the declines here.
Good luck folks.
Yes Twiggy that is the problem with incremental rises, the temptation to take the profit in case it disappears.
Am sure most agree a huge / sudden takeover bid at a fixed (no brainer) price would be most preferable.
Nice to see it firming up (oooh matron)
The S.P definitely firmed up from middle part of the day with the bid going up from .24p towards .25p - I did not get to do a trade later on as busy with work.
An out of the blue super spanking RNS would be very nice eh!
fresh, many have been here longer than me so can answer. I don't recall PC saying he is actually exploring for Lithium. There was a well known AIM guy (Paul someone who was one of the bosses at MTR) who was going to (he might have) invest some money in SRES so long as we did start longing for Lithium - Samspade may recall the details.
Patrick is no doubt fully aware of how beneficial it would be to 'find' lithium - who knows what he is looking at right now!
After hours and off topic / on topic and hoping the link is not removed.
A song written for SRES (not really!) where the lyric says what we all think and there is even a mention of Safetrader here;
"The negativity, yeah, pushed onto young paddy, yeah
Is a shame, whose to blame?"
