@MaryBr190 all those talk were what the derampers were using to short sell the stock. The new management had realistically just bad mounted the old board, they will expectedly come up with a "saviour" story line soon to boost their profile and talk of how good job they did to save the company from a dire situation. Nothing new with these tricks, if you see the balance sheet, you will understand. The closest company, BAE is not even down 20% YTD and this is down almost 65% YTD, its no brainer where the SP should be heading.
I will say expect a short squeeze on here soon, bears have been fighting tooth and skin for so long - trying to drag the SP down with small tiny little orders. No one really wants to sell at these prices, no will will be interested in selling - Even the last signal from British Bull is to stay long:

Sub - 230, these shorts are really trying so hard! on 390k volume with positive momentum, clearly huge manipulations here

@RENE_to_40p you are very correct, no one will be willing to sell sub-240 and the shorts are very extremely desperate using their old tricks to try to game the algos. They are trying hard to pull the SP down with tiny minimal volume hoping to scare people into selling despite very obvious tailwinds of new Novavax and JnJ (one shot) vaccine approval and imminent US stimulus which will 100% shake the market.
The efforts by the shorts is just pathetic at this point, they are selling to themselves.

I can see the sneaky shorts closing on the cheap - literally dragging the price down at every opportunity, they are scrambling to get out! If well hold our shares and set a high sale value - they wont have no choice, they are very screwed as it is - but they are using fear to kill PI

You can see that the shorts are just playing with the sp. Which is really bad. WorldQuant LLC opened a short on 1st and closed it yesterday without much consequences. 100% you can see by the way shorters are going in and out of this share without having consequences. They do just want to bring the share down but dont know how to go about it. Pathetic

I dont see much people taking profit yet - besides todays volume is around 330k, which says it all - price pulled down with very minute volume. this usually does around 3m - 15m volume daily

I cant imagine people will be selling at a lost. Only logical sense is the shorting edge funds have the keys to London stock exchange. Only FTSE markets are the shorts prevailing, clearly they had been caught out on wall street and other well regulated markets. We will see what happens tomorrow. Today has been a very bad day....

this is right, ive set my 150k shares for £3. Any share that is left on the portfolio without a sell order will drag this price down, if we all set our sell order to 3 or more - the shorters wont have a chance

Well @Phermic you will be surprised that several others like JP morgan and jefferies had put a PT of 335 and 270 respectively.
So there you have it, you can pick your choice. More recently, Morgan Stanley also built a good position on the stock. The lowest PT before the barclays shambles was at 240

But I meant in an ideal world - this company should be around £1.5 - £2bn or more in Mcap

@Phermic Not to be sarcastic but if a company came declare over £200million profit within a year where they have been severely hit by COVID and their market cap stands at just £1BN. What 'research' or logic are you trying to imply to justify a market cap of around £600M based on barclays new target? the PE ratio will be beyond ludicrous.
There is no company that does not have debts, have you tried rolls royce which currently has a market cap of £9BN and debt still stands at around £7BN? You can decide to see it whichever way you chose, but there is a clear pattern of manipulation based on this price action. There is no way this company should be nearing £1.5 - £2BN market cap, the manipulation is all down to messaging and timing

This is just wildly manipulated, how can a company with over 250M profit, £3B turnover and over £1BN in cash have a market cap of just £1BN?

Except this company goes into administration price target should be around 280 - 400

@Rr101 We seem to be in a similar position - just that I didnt lose any of my 'real' money. I will be waiting to hop back in soonest too. Learning curve

@white - ive been long on Rolls from start of the year and never touched my holdings, was 50k up at some point, but i came out, not because I dont believe, but cos I have another offline investment I was looking at and just wanted to stay in cash.
TBH with shares and stock, you have to be ready to win and lose, I feel gutted for missing out on 50k and/or 30k profit, but again I know I can make that some other time back on here. I am extremely bullish on Rolls and expect it not to be less than 2 by mid 2021. I hope to get back in if an opportunity presents itself, if not I will still go elsewhere, I am not a fanatic - just an optimist

In line with other airline stocks, expected RR to be around 115-117 range today (5%). IAG, Eazy jet etc all did same. Though abit gutted i went out yesterday, still happy for all those who held and hope they get rewarded too! If this ever went down, i am jumping back in

I have to be one of the super optimistic bull on this BB and still am, but not sure why I even sold. I guess it was the comfort of entering at a lower point and the scare got better of me today. Shares gone up since I sold at 1.065 - I dont mind, since I still keep a small punt in my ISA. I know RR is solid and I expect it to keep going up. I only took out my other funds as I want to do other projects - I still look forward to some reward in my ISA shares though

@Rr101 I was in at 133k - its important I hold my capital - I missed out on 36k profit on 4th of Dec.

Not worried, as Ratty said, can make this all back in a day.
I look forward to making it back - still got some little 2k though - nothing compared to 36k I was in profit with but glad not to be in red eitherway
