@Rr101 Sorry to hear about your loss.
I will probably (not 100% certain yet) also exit my position today for a tiny small profit (3k - ish). very gutted watching my profit drain from £36K.
But I will probably just close now, and assess the situation before deciding my next move. i am not giving up on Rolls and I know I will surely make that £40k-ish back but I just need to protect my capital and sanity.

I see so many predictions for tomorrow - please it is sunday, spend some time with your family and enjoy.

I dont think there will be anything new with Brexit (deal or no deal) - hence pounds should perhaps drop ever so slightly.

Pounds dropping always props up FTSE, but not sure it might be the case tomorrow - what ever it is, there is a huge upbeat about the fiscal COVID stimulus for airlines from the USA and also the new moderna vaccine approved - surely this has to be a huge positive plus several people are bargain hunting. Many wish this down just to load, not to short.

Alll aviation and cruise stock should have strong days on monday/Tuesday with US stimulus deal now reached and more vaccine approval from EU + USA approval after hours

@Rr101 US markets open at 9am (UK time).

No one knows the future - if Brexit news comes through tomorrow - it will 100% offset all these lockdown talks. There is nothing new or unexpected by the lockdown, that was the theme for last week.

So just to enjoy the weekend and wait to see how it all unfolds.

@Invest2Progress if travel was not cancelled - then SP will be around 200+ by now - so many things already in this SP - but again, the market is controlled by the hedge funds and the big boys

Well, was not like there wasn't a lockdown before now - Just wondering if Vaccine and (perhaps) good brexit news will offset this. and perhaps the USA stimulus news

We havn't done anything above 40m volume without a big move, but today there was 89M with price almost flat - looks like next week will be very interesting

Market is betting for something very big - its been long we had such volume on a trading date! - hopefully its a good news for Monday....

There has actually been way more sells today than buys but the SP keeps rising, very strange - there were massive TONS more buys over the last few days when the SP was in free fall. It all defies basic investor logic

Obviously market wont react to this - BUT CEO said he doesnt care if its a deal or no deal just last week as RR is prepared for both scenario

Opened at 115.7p in EUR. Let's see how it goes. No matter what this is always a contrarian stock. Has done 20 and 50% on days we never expected. I hope something like that happens soon.

@arms999 this stock behaves strangely - you can never play it - it might go up tomorrow!

@Rr101 this has continously dropped for no reason - the aviation section is currently under attack by shorters and fraudulent analysts posing as brokers - Until we get some substantial catalyst which are:

Brexit
US Stimulus
FDA Vaccine approval in USA

Its hard to see how this will rise tomorrow - All of these catalysts are almost 100% sure but they will only happen after UK market closes - - I will take a movement towards 116/118 tomorrow (if possible - as I think many people will want to get in - in anticipation of next week) - I surely expect a white Christmas next week

I think the deal will be made on Sunday - the problem is around access to the fishing waters and quotas - GB understandably want to have the final say on that - I think it is a reasonable position and I hope France agrees to it.
