Could be 'speculative'... but CH's phrase that the strategic review is hopefully "nearer its end than its beginning" may augur something. Those earlier 1 million-share purchases were not based on sheer puff.

(Apologies if this has already been raised). An enigmatic turn of phrase towards the end - after CH mentioned the Takeover Code rules. He said the strategic review process (which started in mid-April) was CLOSER TO THE END THAN THE BEGINNING: That would imply some time before mid-August. Of course we have had predictions before about the IPCC, but that is outwith CH's control.

TW's use of 'lies', liars' and 'spivs' does him no credit at all. Compared with liars like Robert Maxwell etc. the accusations are overmade. Could've made his points trenchantly and would've got more respect. Played it vulgar. Could've been deadly in a cool, forensic way and maybe would've got a little kudos. However, he managed to get a result yet make himself look tawdry. (BTW, he was wrong on ZOL and his investment tips have not covered him in glory).

If you are right about this business plan suggestion, it sounds a little reminiscent of NTOG which, though it seems to be coming together at the moment, took quite a while to get its ass in gear.

Applelover 15.55 "Two prominent journalists"?. That represents a stretching of the word 'journalist' and a seismic shift in the meaning of the word 'prominent'. They're no Bernard Levins or even Jeff Randalls. And TW is certainly no red hot tipster.

BigGib..almost snap. ROSE, ASTA,STG (NOT GSR, BUT AM HEAVILY IN REM AND LESSO SO LGO). Rose gave me a scare. TW is a jerk with superficial and misleading comments on ASTA. His influence is minimal but the small circle around ASTA may mean he might have had a disproportionate influence on those woo lazy to do their own research. Hope he's not gloating as he has little to gloat about. His panning of ZOL came back to bite him on the ass and I hope this does likewise but by a factor of 50.

TW trashed ZOL in a similar fashion a while ago and it cam back to bite him in the ass. I suspect the same will happen again, but this time due to one or two piece of sloppy research, he should not be allowed to get away with it.
