Let's face it, trust in Smith is now totally shot. As others have said, does anyone actually know what the hell is going on and what the timelines really are? Validation, clinical validation, batch production, we have been tied up in knots andI for one do not have a clue where we are at. What was the purpose of today's RNS? As soon as I read it my heart sank. The price was only going one way today. This company can only now be seen as dodgy as feck; the Kamanis' in at 18p when the price was over £1, the £48 million raise when we were fully funded, the infamous house purchase and now after every other company said that a saliva test was not on, a capitulation on that, too. Who knows whether we will ever get a test? If we do it will be very late in the cycle and we risk losing out wholesale. Smith's tactics have been shocking. I thought that this was different from the usual AIM rubbish. I was wrong!
"LFD evaluations complete" Sounds like a major step forward. The waiting here has become totally excruciating, particularly for those investors who like me, shifted over here from Novacyt at the wrong time. Now, at last, there may be light at the end of the tunnel. GLA.
Am I the only one who is genuinely perplexed about how these tests which are thought to be inferior to Avacta's are able to be sold now. Have they struggled through the gluepot system which is Condor? I don't think they have. So why are they authorised and validated? This is now seriously beyond a joke. Hitching ourselves to this joke of a government is beginning to look like a huge tactical mistake.
Alistair: Calm, confident, understated, totally focussed on getting it absolutely right. All I wanted to hear. Don't really care about the share price today or tomorrow. I will be sitting on my hands until the great day!
I may be wrong but I have a sense now that time is running out fast for us. Great hopes evaporating before our eyes. We put all our eggs in the basket of the most incompetent government for generations. Not a peep from America. Risk reward has changed and I have sold a chunk of my shares this morning.
I though he told us that he had sold out comepletely and gone to Solgold. Maybe I am wrong. If he has done he had played this as badly as it could possibly be played and surely his " advice" will not be missed.
Good for Elise! Now let's draw a line at last under her, dubious at best, decision to pay off a long term debt at historically low rates and forego highly likely exponential growth in Greatland Gold. Can't help but think that this interminable back and forth is because she/ he is perceived to be female. Sexism at its worst. Let's move on.
Can everyone please stop boasting about the size of their holding. ie " 5 grand for every penny drop" etc. An I the only one who finds this monumentally juvenile and essentially just boring. Post if you have something useful to say. Who cares about the size of your holding. GLA.
Now why would Newcrest in a presentation all about them place highlights around Greatland's tenements, including Paterson East, which, as of now they have no interest in? Mega hint there in my view.
Thoroughly agree, Paddy. Our presence in the ETF brings our name to the attention of a far greater number of institutions and ordinary investors worldwide and, in particular in the USA. All weekend the board has been I restive mood arguing about the effect all this will have on Monday and following days. Is everyone listening? No investor here should give a fig what happens in the immediate near term. Just look at the fundamentals and what is to come in what I would call the medium term; before the end of the first quarter next year. Relax. Can you see any real chance of a negative outcome? Black Swan events can and do happen, that's the inherent risk of investing in any share. I couldn't care less what happens next week but I am supremely confident that next year we will all be much wealthier than now
I have been pondering over the goings on yesterday when, much to my surprise, and I accept that we all have our own targets etc, some LTH sold, it would seem, large quantities of shares. For the life of me I could not work that out. We were awaiting the ETF news which was looking very good, we have the Scallywag and other target drilling results in the near term, and within a few months the MRE, which many believe will be the signpost towards our future as GGP shareholders. Why, in heaven's name, sell yesterday? What is the downside in holding? For me, I cannot see any reason to sell until the end game is clear for all to see. Finally, and I know it has been said by many before me, all shareholders owe an enormous debt of gratitude to many members of this community who have selflessly shared their detailed research to all of our benefit. You know who you are.
