I don't feel FTT contagion is responsible for the crypto decimation but more likely that it's time to exit before the SEC shut them down for illicit financial activities.

I do see Bitcoin surviving and benefiting but not in the short term (couple of years at least imo)

I'd be cautious about altcoins after The Securities and Exchange Commission won its case against LBRY on Monday. According to LBRY, the language in the court's ruling could make “every cryptocurrency in the US a security, including Ethereum.”

Plenty to look forward to with the recent US FDA pre-submission for Genedrive MT-RNR1 kit and NICE acceleration of the same product. The also NICE inclusion of CYP2C19-ID Kit in new programme (hopefully soon to join the acceleration programme because we are apparently seeing a pandemic of heart related deaths in the UK.

I get being way down on your investment (trust me i've been there recently with Bitcoin miners) isn't good but this company does have the potential to turn things around (imo)

A new report claims the UK is not capitalising on its current genetic testing strengths.

More must be done to maintain the UK’s mantle as a world leader in genomic medicine, a new report suggests.

The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) warned the UK’s position could be undermined if patients are not able to benefit from the services on offer.

A new report from the association claims the UK is not capitalising on its current genetic testing strengths and is falling behind some other countries.

The test carried out by his team can provide a result within days of someone’s blood being taken after a stroke and could benefit around 30,000 people a year.

Nice post Chae, im ok thanks moved away from Bitcoin stocks until I see something to make me move back in. I got a 'Spam Ban' on ST which strangely felt as liberating as my Twitter Ban some years ago ....

I don't intend to come across as depressed but just my realisation the BTC public mining sector has serios issues that perhaps a complete cleanse of them all in this cycle will be required.

NO ONE knows what we might be heading into, who knows it could be all Rosey next year but things could be a lot worse.

Lets say we are entering a depression and that Bitcoin drops to say $10k for five years..

Satoshi/Bitcoin doesn't give a **** but the miners that we see today will all be long gone.

Bitcoin would survive and possibly out perform every asset in existance.

These public traded miners have all got the whole thing wrong and will likely pay dearly but Bitcoin doesn't give a ****E.

There are many NOT public traded miners securing the network..

There seems almost to be a 'we need them ' and they will survive mentality to public traded miners ....

Perhaps the Satoshi model didn't account for dilutive public miners and actually they will be eliminated because they are not compatible with Bitcoin evolution.

Because a few greedy bitoin miners fail doesn't mean Bitcoin fails...Might be something in that model but wtfdik

Are any of the public traded BTC miners making any profit ?

How long can all of them continue to lose money on every Bitcoin mined ?

If BTC stays at these levels or declines lower (no one knows) for the next few years how will any survive unless they have stock dilution?

My thoughts on public traded Bitcoin miners are they are all barely hanging on by a thread, mostly due to price gauging by the BTC miner manufacturers and due to the gung-ho expansions of operations and debt/ investor dilution.

Reckless, stupid and ultimately destructive to themselves and investor and perhaps Bitcoin.

I'm pretty much out of all BTC miner positions right now but will see who survives (iff any), what new entities enter the market for the next bull run (if there is one) and make any investments accordingly.

Utter madness to pay so much for rigs during a bull run and then go skint when you realise there's no f'ing profit in BTC at these levels (which ain't that bad)

Get rid of the whole lot and bring in some adults to the BTC mining space is me opinion.

Depends on the final results which we don't have to wait long for.

If they need to do a 25% discount offering to get cash to see them through to say next september and until Genedrive® MT-RNR1 Test has meaningful uptake and cash revenues then that's what they will have to do. (imo)

On paper they have cash until q1 next year atm so until we all know more it's pure speculation.

I'm keeping some funds ready to increase my holding (1 mil is my target subject to how things play out)

There are obviously other products on the market which could deliver strong results at any time which makes this investment different to many others.

I still feel we could see a large player move in sooner rather than later but wtfdik ;-)
