My underdog miner is still MIGI, Mara's Fredy said operations were more important than miners when it comes to acquisitions/ mergers (or something along those lines ;) and I still believe MIGI will either bob along without too much stress until they merge or get bought out..

I've enjoyed some interesting debate with fleccy on the BTC board about BTC, Banks and other topics.

I think the US selling BTC was an uncomfortable truth for fleccy that BTC has value because the US sold some of their HODL ;-)

The Banks aren't out of the woods yet (imo) and Ai looks to be the biggest disruptor of our time so chat on that board has ground to a halt for now...

These are interesting times for sure (WTF was Coldvid all about !?!) and we are seeing ripples now that may turn into tsunamis or they may just be ripples...

Stalicla are laying out some serious dollar to get products to market and seem to be moving at pace which I find very encouraging.

I've been following Avacta since you mentioned them on here and to be fair they look very good... However they do have a £380M MCAP so their results ought to look good.
Their poster at the American Association for Cancer Research Meeting this weekend was competing with 6000 other posters !
Nearly all 6000 presumably vying for funding or recognition of their achievements in the hope the US Cancer Moonshot gravy train, some other funding vehicle or for public companies further shareholder dilution allows them all to come back every year to enjoy the hotels and hospitality whilst hoping for some sort of big pharma deal.

Evgen having that Stalicla deal in place and moving towards results and payments is massive. Although the deal is for treatment ASD getting that across the line this year would be a game changer....

I'm surprised the sp isn't at least double where it is right now ?!?

I do think Helen focussing on Institutional investors will pay off but Evgen could be much better at PR.

The other company with a £10M MCAP has a deal ]in place where it will receive $5m on grant of IND by the FDA (anticipated in late 2023) something which is something Avacta doesn't have in place (yet)

The UK company that I alluded to last week recently presented in a poster at the ESMO Sarcoma and Rare Cancers Congress (March 20-22), in Lugano Switzerland.

Their poster presented the scientific work evaluating, for the first time, the anti-tumour activity of their lead asset...(the images on their investor presentation are impressive)

Credit Swiss was collapsing the same day so I suspect attendees may have been distracted but just putting it out there that having a poster doesn't relate to immediate share price appreciation (the other company saw no increase in sp at that time)

Whilst commercial real estate and Bank/ investment exposure is in plain sight as the probable next shoe to drop there are also several unknown risks one of which has been discussed by Chamath, Jason, Sacks & Friedberg on their All-In Podcast over the past few weeks...

This week they actually sounded worried by AutoGPT and how it could be used by bad actors:

So whilst there are obvious worries with inflation, stagflation, real estate collapses , recession fears, de-dollarization, conflict escalations and many other topics perhaps the biggest threats could very quickly emerge from Ai and AutoGPT and bad actors ...

Bitcoin (BTC) seemed to do very well during the first wave of Banks failing (even if they may have mostly been Crypto choke point 2.0 targets)....

The concerns around commercial real estate have been openly discussed recently even to some degree on MSM like Bloomberg..

Perhaps the collapse of commercial real estate could create a Domino effect with more US Banks and perhaps wider large investment organisations ?

Maybe all BTC has to do is provide an alternative place for people to park some cash as Banks, Funds and other options historically seen as 'safe' investments begin to collapse....

We should find out soon enough and maybe it coincides with the BTC halfling which could be a spectacular aligning of events ;-)

Avacta was mentioned on this other AIM Pharma chat recently which prompted me to take a closer look....

I appreciate this will likely raise a few peoples blood pressures but I can't see why one has an MCAP of £370M and the other has an MCAP of £10M....

One just has better comms as far as I can tell ;-)

I suppose it could also just be a case of lets get Q2 target and Stalicla under the belt... and the BOD not feeling the need to bother fully promoting the companies recent achievements until that hurdle is behind them...

I'm relatively new to this stock and I can be quick to criticise (as I was with GDR before it 5x'd ;) but there does seem to be a lack of something at the top. Probably like GDR where you have overfed BOD who lack skin in the game and wonder why investors are unhappy with years of share depreciation.

I'd better stop posting before I say what I really think... ;-)

Why such large options awarded in December ?

I've sent a couple of emails to Evgen because they seem to lack the ability to promote their business on a basic level which has to change (imo)
Maybe Evgen needs to get rid of some Dr's and get someone who can build a successful business... Actually that's exactly what Evgen needs in my opinion.
