QBT is actually providing constant gains... for the traders

They worked out some time ago that QBT is likely to pop up a bit if BTC sees an increase and drift back down with BTC. It can pump on garbage updates from FG and his interviews and drift back down when the hysteria calms down.

Cheap trading on AIM, no real chance of a massive dump like an Oil or Gold stock when there is bad news because fg doesn't do bad news lol and FG constantly providing little pumps to trade with.

Perfect trading stock imo although the MCAP at £20M for two ASIC miners and some numbers on a spreadsheet seems a bit toppy...

Financials coming up and presumably a raise coming for the new eco mining project ?...

Traders out for now waiting for a re-entry around 1.5p is my best guess

QBT's two Asic mining rigs although not in operation currently valued at more than £10M each assuming there is some cash in the bank after the Miami jolly ;-)

I wouldn't be surprised if FG announced they had also been developing fusion energy and time travel.

They do have a couple of mining rigs but didn't even give product details on those lol

Jamboner QBT are still in R&D, they have done some research and come up with some numbers but it doesn't sound like they have developed anything resembling a product.

IF QBT fail to convert some sketchy 30% increase results, oh sorry it's now 2.6 x (having miraculously found an extra 130%) in a the past few months and are to become just another Bitcoin miner proposing a completely new approach to zero carbon footprint Bitcoin mining should they then be valued the same as David Lenigas's BTC.PL (Vinanz Limited) which is a micro mining operation adding blocks of 100 miners when they can afford them ??

Serious question because QBT don't actually have a real world product and seem to be moving towards mining...

I watched it on bitcoin magazine yt channel, attendance was 50% down and it was a total s... show because nobody was comfortable due to the exposure of btc block sizes being too small, fees too high and how bsv devs had managed to help create a new system within btc.

Fg going around chatting and collecting business cards isn't the same as having a stand or stall lol.

The level of cognitive bias on this chat is off the scale.

This months news releases and interviews are littered with 'conceptually' and 'theoretically' but cognitive bias has turned these into something completely different. (crazy emoji :)

The 30% news using B was obviously not exciting enough so he upped to to 2.6 X

He's no fool (I don't trust him) and having the quantum card in his back pocket will get him industry leaders ears which could very well result in a partnership/ earn in deal which would likely pump the sp....

He's in a strong position because nobody knows what he's got and very people would understand what Grover is capable of with quantum computing.

any firmware would have to bullet proof tested. can you imagine one or more of the big mining pools or public traded miners 'giving it a go' only to find it brings down their entire operation and potentially corrupts their mining fleet because it wasn't fully secure in some way ?!?

i'd be very surprised if any pools or miners take such a risk until any yet to be made product is rolled out regardless of possible upside to mining.

these companies have multi million or billion $$ operations and are unlikely to simply plug and play until intensive safety checks have been carried out, published and peer reviewed to ensure existing investors, customers are safe.

obviously i could be wrong but lets be honest without a product to even bench test before safety testing we are all just ******* in the wind, fg included :-)

Because the website states 'Method B software will be available' does not mean that it is available.

On a separate point IF QBT are able to do deliver a product and do a deal with a large miner say MARA who have mined over 1000 BTC this month how would you envisage the contract clause IF they were using Method B and it failed over any length of time due to unforeseen outages ?

As an example one down day due to QBT system failure could represent a loss of mining to MARA of 5 blocks which would equate to about $875,000. Ten days downtime would be about $9M, which is something I'm sure would have to be considered by entering parties...

Calculations are approximate (see Memepool for reward plus fees) but I'm sure even Jamboner can see the possible downside to QBT being a mediator with any large miner :-)

As you point out I did have a decent holding having initially trolled this chat over the company name change and the miner one Burger Van images (when I was in Argo) but took a position when the Asic Ultraboost patent was filed (around 1.4p at the time) later deciding that I wasn't comfortable with some of what FG was saying.

I enjoy trying to keep up with all things Bitcoin (more so Bitcoin SV these days, as per my LSE/BTC/Crypto posts with fleccy) and QBTs efforts are obviously something I follow and would consider investing in again.

Whilst I see inconsistencies in FG's interviews as to what QBT are doing and where QBT might find success I'm happy to sit at the Station and IF the conductor properly waves a Green flag at some point I'll probably jump on the back of the train :-)

IF, when QBT have a product that can be tested the market should expect to see results of them running real time tests.

Ideally several identical ASIC's running their method B alongside standard ASICs all using the same pool to easily compare results.

It wouldn't be difficult to bench test and provide real world test data over differing time scales. QBT will need to have a product to do this of course ;-)

That's not what FG stated in the interview yesterday, QBT have some test results but they don't have a product.

The authenticity of the 2.6x theoretical claim should be questioned when the same Method “B” indicating 30% improvement over commercially available ASIC chip-based miners was reported on 15 November 2022 R&D Update...

QBT may be onto something of value but they will need to manifest a product that can be bench tested over a long duration and proven to be advantageous and not actually detrimental.

Vlad will probably reign in FG's gung-ho approach to interviews and bring some degree of accountability/ provability to future reporting and subsequent interviews which imo is no bad thing.

FG went from saying three orders of magnitude (1000 x faster) to 30% to 2.6x. :-)

Vlads LinkedIn say's he's and 'Experienced storyteller' and he seems to like paintings and pictures on there.

Let's face it with no real world product, bench test or test net data he'll have to draw on all of his storytelling and painting a picture skills when talking to industry leaders ;-)

Let's be sensible about this chaps, IF QBT actually had a product they would have to run it on a test net before being allowed to roll something out.

No Test Net Data news means no product imo

I have asked Kurt Wuckert Jr to look at QBT and contact regards any intention to offer BSV mining services.

Kurt runs GorillaPool and contributes to CoinGeek and is a Bitcoin historian/ expert. He is well known and highly regarded within the industry.
