Ok so we are now about to find out what HH KL3 and KL4 are all about:

'Following a final long duration pressure build up test, preparations for the primary Kimmeridge EWT
are now underway. The Kimmeridge EWT’s goal is to establish the commerciality of the underlying KL3
and KL4 oil pools, which in 2016 flowed 40 API crude naturally to surface at an aggregate implied stable

So i've read it 4 times now looking for anything negative and all I see is positive ? Ok so Alba may need some funds to carry out planned sidetrack and or new drill but is that likely to be now ? Maybe but like GF has said in interviews raising funding would be ok if Alba are following the money. Interesting few weeks ahead that's for sure

After yesterdays news relating to Holmwood and in particular UKOG's MCAP I think it's worth taking another look at each companies assets
and values:

UKOG:

Avingdon 5%: Field currently shut in (no realisable value)
Broadford Bridge 100%: BB1 & 1z completed and failed to produce (no realisable value)
Holmwood 40%: Lease not renewed so effectively a non starter (no realisable value)
Horndean 10%: Steady production 15 bopd net to UKOG (probably doesn't cover the costs so no realisable value)
Horse Hill 46.735%: EWT's underway (realisable value MCAP £120M based on expectation)
Isle of Wight 65%: Preparation for planning (no realisable value)
Markwells Wood 100%: Apparently no longer permitted onto land by land owner but to my knowledge this has not been confirmed to the market (no realisable value)

So by my calculations non of UKOG's assets can reasonably add to it's market capitalisation apart from Horse Hill and most of it's so called assets are likely to cost large sums of money to get out of and return to their former state.

Alba:

Horse Hill 11.765%: EWT's underway (realisable value MCAP £15M based on expectation)
Thule Black Sands 100%: Field Work completed and awaiting results (could be of significant value but no value realisable value)
Inglefield 100%: Field work completed and awaiting results (we'll have to wait to see what they found no realisable value)
Cloggy 90%: Planning and field work underway to find new Gold Strikes (we'll have to wait again no realisable value)
Amitsoq 90%: Initial results are good but shelved due to higher than practice costs required to move this forward at this time no realisable value)
Melville Bay 50%: No news from this project so no realisable value)
Limerick 100%: Field work planned to confirm mineral content (next to Pallas Syncline but no realisable value)
Brockham 5%: Planning approved for Kim 3 year testing (promising asset but no realisable value)

My point being that both companies could now more easily be compared as to having only one asset of value at this time.

UKOG have 4 times as much of HH than that of Alba but have an MCAP x 8

All things being equal Alba should have an MCAP circa £30M or put another way it should be at 1p

At some point this disparity surely has to come inline..

UKOG have yet to release an RNS about Holmwood whilst other Holmwood partners have informed the Market earlier today.

My guess is that SS must be trying to get some good news about HH EWT's to land at the same time.

If i'm right (often not the case) we could expect an RNS within the next few hours..

I've been giving some thought as to exactly how GF became a Non Exec Director of HHDL given Alba had such a small stake back in 2016..

Looking at the HHDL website it is clear that GF is a very clever chap with plenty of experience and maybe he was simply suggested by DL ?

I wouldn't under estimate the residents of West Chiltington and other areas close to BB. These are wealthy mostly retired Bankers, Lawyers and Solicitors and educated people who could make things very difficult for UKOG. You dont get a Bentley Dealership in a Village unless there are lots of Wealthy people close by... Just saying... Imo of course
