Nice idea Output, but...
Which acreage do you think may be interesting to a major that they would be willing to carry a major partner like CEG into the future with them, joined at the hip..
I am not so positive since this is what they never do...even less so considering our established track record from LGO, CERP, CERL, BPC, and now CEG....and our lightweight management team, not funded, not technically competent. Why would they take all that on board in this special case?
Majors and large independents are extraordinarily careful when they enter partnerships.
What is the prize available to help them hold their nose and partner with us?
There is No WAY this happens, it is not how it work in reality.
This, "a major is farming in' ball did not bounce the last few times (Bahamas or SWP) , and it most certainly will not bounce in Uruguay, (see past logic re Bahamas), and nothing else we have is in the wheelhouse of even a small independent, never mind a major.
Who Output, which property? I have only worked with 2 majors and a handful of large independents over the years, which one do you think may take us on a magic carpet ride to wonderland in Uruguay, and why??
thanks,
Druid says, forget it, again....
chaps chaps chaps, relax!
This is a greenfield project.
The EMA needs CYA as they will get a plethora of queries when ops start.
They need to demonstrate rigour, and are doing so.
In that effort they engage sophisticated consultants to review EIA's.
These, in turn, then feel they need to earn their keep and do a bit of arbitrary nit-picking.
This takes time.
In greenfield projects, all this is de rigueur and part of the regulatory dance.
Calm down everyone, it gets there.
He would love to share his wisdom with his flock, but he has singed an NDA on three very important deals with CEG, so he cannot stoop to our level any longer.
We wait for his words, we wait for his wisdom, for he is full of it.
(I think it might have been three used cars...)
Here is the problem here SamManBi,
The very first line on that link, that Corporate Reflection, is complete BS, on the very Front Page the very first line they put WNZ under the Trinidad section, and it gets messed up more further down that first page....
The reason this happens is because no-one there gives a damn or knows a thing about any of the technical aspects of these acreages, just "..where is the filthy lucre and how can we get our grubby dirty little mitts on it!?".
They just wing it left and right, Exxon loves Bahamas, Shell loves Uruguay, BUT at CEG, we have both People!!
YEAH RIGHT !!
The more things change with this bunch of opportunistic fund raisers (raiders), the more they stay the same.
Run for your lives is my advice, from TED, CERP, CERL, BPC or CEG, they are one and the same miserable misleading methodology at work, faked to fleece the unsuspecting PI's who think that because oil is high, they need to buy low and sell high....and Willec and Starchild's new incarnation will take advantage of the gullible and weak minded, DO NOT FALL for this rubbish again...
Heed the Druid!
Oh for Pete's sake,
The Cretaceous passive margin exists on every major tectonic plate since the 5th thermal episode after the Jurassic which created the current continental configuration.
Guyana, Namibia, Campos, and even Brulpadda in South Africa and MANY MANY other oil discoveries are related to this geological setting....BUT..
You cannot just pop a well anywhere in the passive margin and say, "Hey, I got Guyana here"!!
REALLY CHAPS, we went down this road already with this lot....remember?
Have they even published a coherent petroleum geoscience story, because usually, as in the past, these guys don't need any technical work for what it is that they do?!
Put you money in oilco's that are 1.) Technically driven and 2.) Well Funded.... These guys have never been either!!
Not as LGO, CERP, BPC, or CEG.....
True,
99% of us are really down 99%.
I'm with mcadder though, there must be huge amounts to made if we can just tap into the BOD and hang with the 0.1% who make tons of money like macadder did!! (Like Lenigas, Ritson, Koot, Potter, the lightweight Oz, these are not poor people and we shouldn't be either! We can do it too !!
In fact, mcadder did it twice!! So clearly we need to follow his example.
I'm watching him for clues, I think he is plugged into starfish, just not in that English schoolyard way..
The Druid is a follower, tell us when to buy master mac.
Follow mcadder people!
Roll up Roll up, you deserve it so,
He made a fortune here,
and so, you can go!!
Oil is high ,
the SP is low,
and there's only one way it really can go!
Thirty bagger here,
buy low sell high , get rich right here my dear,
It was so nice,
He did it twice!
Follow him,
mac the ramper,
So you can too..
(..get flushed right down the proverbial loo)
I disagree John2727, for a few simple reasons.
If you compare TXP to other players in that same province, say TED, RRL, CEG, CERP, LGO, BPC, Canned Soup, etc.....there are a few things different, for example TXP has:
1. A third party audited bona fide wet gas discovery in Casca, with actual well test analysis that ascribes certain reserves to the company, plus the structure is complex and not nearly fully explored. 2. TXP has a very interesting discovery in Royston, with frankly a dramatic structure which is now known to exist across the bulk of the block, 3. TXP has both legacy production in excess of 1000bopd, has tested an impressive gas discovery, and has just gotten first oil from the first well in a new play....and let me remind you, all the big fields in Trinidad took multiple wells to fully appraise because of the complex structure, commonly occurring 'off-crest' oil, and multiple hydrocarbon contacts and types. 4. Greenfield O&G projects are notoriously difficult to explore/appraise and develop, both the geology and the regulatory framework, are tested for the very first time in literally primary forested environs.....permitting is notorious difficult in this context, and each little step breaks new ground and uncovers new issues and people , and nothing is simple....nott to mention the well and completion engineering which also needs to be unique for each structure and require a good few wells to nail down...but look how much TXP has done in permitting seismic, drilling, development....and actual seismic drilling and development....show me another lifestyle oiler who has done a fraction of what TXP has in the last 5 years?
How on earth is this anything like the actual lifestyle companies I quoted above?
I think some people are just hard to please or have a pollyannaish view of greenfield exploration, or a innate distrust of small AIM oilers, WHICH I TOTALLY SHARE, (but not in this case.)
Druid Out.
So, the cabal, and their predecessors have all failed miserably on the geological geotechnical front.
TED,LGO,CERP and BPC however, raised an awful lot of money in the search for hydrocarbons.,(Can anyone remember how much?), and have naught to show for it other than nice vacation blogs, no well logs.
Considering that at least Lenigas, Ritson,Koot and Potter could fake a good geological story, this young lightweight Ozzie can't, AND NOT ONE PREDECESSOR HAS ANY TRACK RECORD OF EXPLORATION SUCCESS (unless you include exploring for PI funds). They are all Pirate Pete Landau's, another great oilman from down under..
How on earth with that history, statistically, technically, reasonably, can anyone expect this pig to find a truffle on this occasion in a much newer much bigger more unknown forest...CEG is weaker technically and financially than the rotten predecessors , and the acreage is EVEN MORE RISKY.
So...while I am enjoying the frantic ramp from the usual suspects, let the buyer beware..
The Druid was right on Perseverance and on Saffron, right on RRL,TED,LGO,CERP,BPC and CEG.... take heed and guard your monies, it will vaporise here unless you are seriously plugged in...!
Buy low, sell high, oil is hot...Sure it is and sure you do..... but do not get burned here...many many scores of millions of dollars have been snorted up these snouts to fund their lifestyles....run for your lives!
A wise man learns from the mistakes of others, a fool learns from his own....DO NOT DO IT
Oh, as an aside, welcome back to the old cabal, we have not missed you, but still recognize you.
Pathetic..
We do not tell you what to do, please don't tell us what to do, Luthee the New, (yeah right)!
As a refresher, I post not out of jealousy nor boredom, I post as a social service to those who do not know that every prior incarnation of this unethical cabal, have made a fortune over and over bouncing the same ball over and over and misleading unsuspecting PI's who are unaware of the history and culture of this cesspit.
I post so that those unfortunate investors who think that with a high oil price, any oiler is good, and the lower the price the bigger the upside, buy low sell high...RIGHT?
In this case people, WRONG, DEAD WRONG!!
Unless you were either Lenigas, Ritson, Koot, Potter or the lightweight Oz current pretend oiler with no track record, and unless you were deep inside TED, LGO, CERP or BPC, or in this case CEG, you will be shredded!
Be warned!
Is that clear Luthee?
And why do you post? It seems you are new here, (yeah right again), but full of advice as though you have experience or some technical knowledge of petroleum geoscience. So share some exciting prospectivity why don't you, and woo the shareholders with some advanced geopoetry....we used at least get that as foreplay in the past, before the rogering?
Is this all you have Luthee?
Fatal, we have on many occasions stated why we are on this BB, why does it concern you?
I for one, post here as a public service to alert the unsuspecting shareholders who may not know the culture nor history of this company.
I am a shareholder and I feel free to post, it is almost a duty. I am not offended by your inexplicable support for this company after your severe and sustained losses, assuming you are sincere and you took your own advice in the past..(?)
This group, be it Ritson, Lenigas, Koot, Potter or the inadequate young Oz, are ethically and morally challenged, and the general public ought to be given the fair heads up.
Let everyone speak! I even let Willec and the latest incarnations of his old handler comment without wishing they went away or querying why they post. We know why they post..
You , on the other hand , have lost a fortune yet you wish to let the PI's know that you think that's fine and dandy and they should buy, so knock yourself out!
Others here will alert the PI's to the great Uruguayan ramping fantasy , so it is a balance.
Clear?
Statistically, by more than a country mile, Uruguay = Bahamas = Saffron = GY677 = WNZ in terms of prospectivity.
If, however, you ARE plugged into the cabal, then of course there is a buck to be made here. Lenigas, Ritson, Koot, Potter and the lightweight Oz and their immediate entourage have ALL done very well, and you can too if you are close enough to the play...You can make a buck and pick up the fleas if you try.
If you are an ordinary PI though, you are statistically screwed in this Latest Latin Fantastic Folly (LLFF).
Welcome to Rampsville for the LLFF
No dealer55,
There comes a point when on a matter of principal, some will stand.
Wish them away all you like.
Welcome back Willec, I see your handler is here too but struggling with his identity crisis in this incarnation..
We are here to help.
Druid.
