Some people here possibly dont realise how important and groundbreaking this NICE approval will be for both patient care and obviously for GDR. I dont see any reason why this will NOT be approved in full(see the documents on nice website where various partys like UK stroke association/royal college etc have commented when their opinion was sought. And look up some trialjust google "chance 2 trial subgroup analysis"

A bit more technical is there are other antiplatelets like ticagrelor available which can be safely prescribed if our test identified people who wont respond to clopidogrel...both saving life and money

Also please dont forget antiplatelets are not only used in strokes and TIAs our sensitivity tests will gradually be relevant to all dual anti platelet choices after MI(Heart attack) and peripheral vascular disease etc.
