PS, just out of interest I looked up the Zeus report from 17 March last year. The first commercial gas was slated for the end of 2025 as was the drilling programme and FID on phase 2.

Everything has slipped by a year. The pipeline cost estimates have increased to $100m and are only a fraction of the total phase 2 development ($330m). I found this information easily by using Google.

The pipeline is planned to take 2 to 2-1/2 years so, assuming the FID is published sometime this year, the pipeline won’t be complete until late 2028 or early 2029. Coupled with all the likely delays at least 2030 until complete. I couldn’t find whether the timeframe included all of the above ground processing plant and tie in to the main pipeline.

I won’t express my thoughts on how likely any of this is to happen but my research has not changed my opinion on the investment case for SOU.

Why would anyone need the FT forecasts when SOU have BV and Adam to do all the forecasting?

This was a great week of news for LTH but the market reaction seems to suggest that the CEOL was baked in, any thoughts? Perhaps waiting for the sign off?

ED, good evening. Are you sure that revenues are “ £3m for 2026 & £4.7m for 2027”? Are you sure that’s not profits? That makes no sense as SOU were at negative £126m profit in 2024. Please recheck.

Adam, I agree, you’ve got to be careful with that. The whole market is watching a £15m company with a tiny stake in a limited asset, not.

Adam, 2p per share for renewables, you must be joking. If SOU are still around it will be years before they get around to renewables. They’re struggling to keep the lights on.

Also you’re kidding yourself if you think they’ll drill this year. They needs approvals, infrastructure (roads etc.), a drilling rig on and on.
