I'm with you and Acker on this. It is not the right time to try and oust GR. Nor was it surprising that George was looking stressed during the Q and A. session. It's very easy to blame someone when you are losing money as many on here do. Some repeatedly. At least George admitted mistakes and is clearly trying to work with Canmax to resolve non delivery in Nov. and Dec.
I was in a share many moons ago where we all wished for a change of the CEO. We got our wish when a highly rated guy took over and guess what? There was no improvement and things actually ended up worse than before. So be careful what you wish for.
Agreed, although my buy is not showing yet on LSE. Unfortunately, I have resorted to the filter again as there has been so much nonsense posted recently. Best to not respond to those who are posting childish or malicious posts as it ruins the thread for genuine investors. When that doesn't work why not filter them?
I suspect that LSE are having a problem with the showing the trades again. The Terminal didn't work for a while yesterday. It's not working now either and as you say the trades aren't showing on my watchlist since soon after 2.30pm
Thanks for all the updates and information folks. When you have lost money in the past there is always that anxiety that it might happen again even though it seemed very unlikely with Prem. It all sounds very positive to me and I'm looking forward to seeing the RNS on Monday morning. Might even buy a few more shares next week :)
I emailed HL on Friday. Not heard back yet from HL. It is the weekend, but I've just checked my account and my wife's. It says voted but it's not correct. had to vote again. Then noticed the no. of shares voted in my wife's acc. was my no. of shares. HL let you manage your wife's acc. by just switching without logging in separately. I then assumed that's because you have to log in separately to vote which I did so and was then able to vote for my wife's shares. I would advise veryone to double check by clicking on vote again. I learned most of this from DeadEyeBeaky on Twitter who posted: 'As others have stated, when you open up 'shareholder meetings' it says your vote has been cast.
But once you click on the link to the voting form, it says you haven't voted and you are able to re-vote.' Many thanks to him. This could mean many votes have not been cast contrary to what many of us have thought we had already done.
It's just taken me about 30 seconds if that on HL. Much simpler and easier to vote than I had expected having previously read their instructions. I am wondering if PREM management know how many votes they are getting or not getting prior to the sgm? If they do will it help in giving thm leverage with Canmax or anyone else? Does anyone know the answer to that? I have a feeling they are able to see how the vote is progressing but I may be wrong.
I tnink that you can vote 'through the proxy of the Chairman of the meeting.' If you wish to vote. That quote is from George's RNS of the 21st July. Hope that helps. I will be voting this time and regret not voting last time. Not that I have many millions of shares but clearly every share counts this time.
Feklar...On HL go to 'My Account' (before you get to a list of your stocks) and to the right of it appears a window with a heading 'Shareholder Meetings'. Click on it and follow guidelines from there. Nothing showing yet but presumably the Prem sgm will appear in a day or two. Took me a while to find it the other day.
