The share price will eventually move north from Black rocks accumulation, but I fear that by the time it happens they may be well over 10% or more at which stage we would not get the benefit of a run-up to a take over. A takeover/consolidation is on the cards for this bank and many others

Black rock are no fools. They are getting this bank on the cheap with free money from the fed. They are at over 7% now and still pushing the price lower. No wonder they can make such huge profit. You just have to admire them and try and follow what they ate doing.

Nothing would surprise me with Blackrock, they've been manipulating the shareprice here with the last 18 months. They have managed to walk the share price of a well run Bank down to next to nothing. More than likely they are acting on behalf of some other entity and will make a nice profit in the meantime.
This looks like its going to get very interesting if they keep accumulating, we might to issue our own take over alert soon.
The weak holders have been shaken clear, lets them move the share price back up first before they get our shares

Average down then sit it out. I'm committed to a 900 day wait for this to recover. At 900 days this is longer than it took stocks during the great depression to recover. The only caveat is that the bank stays trading and stays solvent.

It looks like the Tax payer is going to have to shoulder the Debt burden again. Banks meeting with the EU Governments over the next week, the outcome of which will be another huge cash injection via the printing presses and paid for by the public.
BIRG will be looking at getting some free cash in return for propping up those business that should be let face the reality of a free and open market.
