From Reuters "The company is not currently interested in exploring a sale, and there is no certainty that any deal will occur, the people added." Taken at face-value, that's no T/O coming anytime soon. But then again, I guess Press Releases don't always tell the full story so who knows

@Biff- Did you manage to get in & out of MOS yesterday/today? Had a look now 4p - 14p now back to 8p. That's a very dangerous game to play... Another decent rise in ALT today. Maybe this share does have some good foundations....

High today of 50p (on the Ask), and retraced to close at 39.5. That's still a fantastic daily rise of 5p, 15%. If the fundamentals are sound then the RSi score doesn't matter so much as it will improve once people catch up and start buying in. (Although the RSi could be used to sell out, and get back in with more Shares on a dip- if you're a very skillful/lucky Trader). Let's see what tomorrow brings....

@Biff- You going to invest in MOS? What's your target price here? @Velo- A rise of this size has to be off the back of more than just a tip, in Sharewatch or anywhere else. If that's all it is, this Share will drop-back. Hopefully for Investors there's underlying reasons for the rise. Let's see. And apologies if my calculating the rise from Friday Close rather than Monday Open was misleading. That was unintentional, but anyway it's been an impressive rise whichever way you look at it so far. GLA.

Just read through the MOS RNS. All good news certainly. Haven't done any calculations to see what the impact to SP should be though. On one hand it's always dangerous to buy on a Spike, on the other hand it could go upwards again tomorrow. Have a read through and work through some calculations, or at least ask the people on that board what the projected impact is to the SP. And don't believe the top couple figures people give you, it's too easy to get carried away on good news with these things. I don't have more spare cash to invest so MOS isn't for me. Will keep an eye on it though. It certainly looks interesting. Good luck if you go for it....

I got in this morning at 35p. Nearly sold at 46p, but have held. Think even if this retraces back to 30-something pence today I think that the Rise will continue tomorrow. After lunch it fell sub 40p, but is now climbing again. I reckon it will close mid 40's, then tomorrow attempt 50p again, if it falls back then I'll sell, but hopefully it will keep going North. All complete guesswork of course. a 100% rise in just over a day and no RNS. If there was no reason for the Rise, I think Altitude are legally obliged to issue an RNS saying "no reason". They haven't done that, therefore I suspect there is a good reason for it. Fingers crossed anyway......

On the Ask now, wow!!! This is a great Share!!!!

This has been tipped on Sharewatch with a price target of 'mulibagger'. They point out the Aprinta deal which is revenue sharing and a change in direction. Reading on advfn site, people there are speculating at 60-70p, £1 and even £10 a share soon!!! Haha! I mean that would be great, but 20p to £10!!!! Seems way OTT to me. (Of course I would be very happy If that were to happen). Company Results due out on 19th September. "Buy on Rumour, sell on News" gives a few more days prices increases yet..... Again to be clear, I have no inside info, don't know what's going on with the SP, but based on the Rises so far, I think we are likely to see a lot more rises till News, and then on News it's likely to either Rocket, or Drop Back. I'm in for a few Shares. You pays your money, you takes your chances...... -right now this is a gamble, but hey ho, ain't all Shares a bit that way.....

AParky- If your calculations for 12p - 14p an extra 200 - 300 bpd, are right then the SP should definitely go to 15p - 17p as an extra 500bpd have already been confirmed in Dos Puntitos. Plus additional bpd confirmed in Louisiana taking that to 250bpd, could be another uptick. Plus 4 more workovers in Sept, which *if* successful should have a knock-on impact on the SP. And I see no reason why they won't be successful, PPC have confirmed there is oil down there, and they know how to extract it. Don't count your chickens, and a bird in the hand etc applies of course, but realistically these workovers should significantly increase bpd, and as such have a +ve affect on the SP. Accordingly to my Broker (Barclays) the next Technical Resistance Levels are 14p and then 17p. With a good wind in our sails, we could test both by the end of Sept.........

34.5, same as yesterday's close. Yesterday it went up a huge 12.5p, over 50% increase. All Buys so far this morning. Up 1.5p already, think this is worth a flutter... I'm in. Let's go......

Will it retrace or open higher than it closed? If it's higher then that means the Rise probably has a long way to go.... I like this, just like being in the casino, now, Red or Black.....

TBH, I don't know anything about this share. Saw it on the Risers List this afternoon and just took a quick look round their Website, read the Annual Report and Chairman and Directors comments etc. Got a gut feelin' this could be worth jumping onboard, need to wait for a RNS to be sure, but doing that would mean missing a significant part of the Rise..... Hmmmmm.... decisions, decisions.....

I was thinking the opposite. If there's loads of noise on the BB, and rampers saying all the usual "wouldn't want to be out of this overnight" rubbish, then it's probably p&d. As this movement has happened without loads of chat here, I would guess that it's rising on a rumour in the City. That's just my guess, could well be wrong, and even if I'm right, a rumour in the City is no guarantee of any deal being done anyway. But this is rising a lot, and fast, I reckon it's worth keepin' an eye on at least.... or even taking a chance if you're feelin' lucky today..... ;-)

From the Chairman's comment dated 10th June 2016 in the Annual Report, "Trade Only Exhibitions & Publications Our Exhibition and Publications business continues to perform well. The January 2016 event showed another strong performance with increased profitability..... On 15 April 2016, following an increase in the Company’s share price, the Group was obliged to disclose the existence of early stage discussions for the disposal of the Exhibitions and Publications business.The discussions are ongoing, and there is no guarantee at this stage that they will lead to a successful conclusion. If the transaction is agreed, the Directors expect that it would be classified as a fundamental change of business under the AIM rules for Companies and require the prior approval of shareholders." So maybe selling part of the Business for big bucks??? News leaked?? I'm just putting 2 & 2 together here so could be completely wrong, but generally there's no smoke without fire.... Might be worth a punt?

Sounds like the issues were all just technical ones with the Rig that the supplier will have to pick up the cost for, which although less than perfect doesn't impact PPC negatively at all (apart from a few days lost time). Louisiana, Net production expected to return to 250 bopd as well. Very positive RNS all in all I think.
