RE: Abbot Ale Inventories Draw Down18 May 2016 11:09
Thx for the clarifications! Happy New Year! Haha! And Abbot Ale, not a bad call. Suffolk beer right? More of a Badger man myself, had a few Tanglefoots whilst watching B'mth lose last night. Still at least Monks Stand came in by a few lengths; win some, lose some. Yous pays your money you take your chances....
Price of Oil is up pushing $50 now. Argentina coming back into the World's economy. But one big macro story I've seen today that might have an impact is that, Fund managers shun UK stocks, and Allocations to British Equities fall to lowest levels since 2008. Good news will see more PI's invest and push the price up a little (hopefully), but for really big increases to happen I would imagine that we would need some serious Investment. I.e. By Fund Managers prepared to take a Risk. We probably need to see June 23rd before that can happen. And before that PPC should release 2015 Accounts, and hold it's AGM.
So that's three things that might have an impact on the SP in the next five weeks. Or they might not.
Would be nice to see at the AGM a Roadmap to Value creation. Schedules of well workovers, and a proposed timeline of new exploratory drills. I know we do know this anyway, but be good to see it reiterated and timelines updated/reconfirmed.
Just re-read some of the research from a few years back:
"Including the Jacaranda prospect, PPC have an inventory of 25 structural prospects and leads currently in Paraguay. If just one of those hits the shareprice will be 80p (according to the Edison report), who then state, "This value is indicative at this stage; success could see multiples of this value realised"."
Since then PPC have taken a larger % Holding as well. It's not quite Wild West prospecting, but the principles the same. Might make a small profit with increased Productivity in Argentina and continued success in Louisiana, but to strike it rich PPC will need a decent find. Bring on Paraguay....
