A nice article has been published today titled “TPDC assures of gas project”. It shows ongoing progress with connecting households and major industries to natural gas. Highlights include:

“The project to connect what is known as the Mikocheni Pipeline” straight from natural gas sources at Mandimba and Songosongo was meant to be completed this month, but a Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC) senior official told the Citizen last week that the project will now be completed in November this year (2018).”

“The Sh4billion project will connect about 1,000 households and two industries around Ubungo and Mikocheni with natural gas.” The two industries are Coca-Cola Kwanza and Bidco Oil & Soap Ltd.
“This is just the first phase of the TPDC’s project to connect all Dar es Salaam households to the natural gas, whick comes all the way from Lindi and Mtwara.”

“The second phase of the project just kicked off this week with a view to supplying gas to Kigamboni, Mbagala and Mkuranga.”

Rom cash will take a while? The RNS states clearly when they will be paid and I wouldn't call that a while at all, In fact I would say that it is what I would consider as quick as anyone would be likely to be paid. "The buyer of gas is a well-established Romanian gas trading business. Gas delivered in one month is paid for in the following month."

They are projecting population growth from 60 million to 100 million in twenty years.

Whatever your views on this, if that is the way they are going then it seems to me a great time to be getting on board with Aminex right now!

Considering the forecast is for their demand to out strip supply in 2019 I wonder where they are going to get the new supply from?

P0 thank you for your personal observation about me, at times tarry is very well written and has made good points but any single post written and read in isolation can read that way! As you say to me "let it go" I suggest you read the whole conversation and see that is exactly what I have been trying to ask tarry to do for most of the day. He has been beating the drum almost daily since April but if you don't look in that often and only read snippets you wouldn't notice. He has two weeks to wait and then he can moan all he likes if the two things don't happen. It was said at the AGM that the aim was to hold the EGM in September I have no problem with that and that was what I reported at the time. Please note the word "SHOULD" "The vote and EGM should take place in September,"

I also have no problem with the fact that in the most recent interview, we were updated and that gave an indication it would be September for the circular.

My own observations of that lead me to believe the EGM will take place October. It's no big deal it was a conversation not an RNS specific statement.

I'm just being realistic and you are appearing to big digging for something to cry about.
