If it were me and it was within the rules? If the RNS was going to go beyond Friday, I would be putting at least a tweet out today to try and calm any squeaky bums.

If we were waiting for something specific then perhaps we could be told.

Not an excuse in advance but if it were approvals from TPDC they are waiting for then I personally would allow them another four days because of the four days of national mourning that was imposed in the country following the ferry disaster last week.

Going beyond that would seem inexcusable, but if so, their hands must be tied in knots because I can't believe they want a further delay anymore than we do.

If they fail to deliver, I dread to think the amount of tub thumping that will be posted on here!

Me, I bought at 27 and sold at 1.54 after it went to the 1.80s I'm now back in for a few more below £1 as I think there is money to made but I am honest, I'm biased, so DYOR

Killer that is a damned if you do and damned if you don't sort of post. I think the excitement of the oil shows at CH2 let the cat out of the bag there and showing the underground mapping is just what investors seek in terms of PR but would I want to reveal the full likelihood of oil before gaining the licences? The answer has to be no

However we don't know what reporting rules are involved in these licences and they seem to be quite stringent because it seems an RNS cannot be released without approval of TPDC and the company do have "Prosper Victus" as general manager a former government official (Assistant Commissioner for Energy in Tanzania) so I suggest it might be difficult for it not to get out that oil is a target.

I'm happy with my investment on a gas only basis but as Mike Riga said, West and Updip! (There's black gold in them thar hills) If we find it and it's still a BIG IF, it will blow the sp through the roof and we really have only a few months to wait before we find out.

In answer to the question How any Barrels in the limestone at CH1 - I Haven't got a clue how much oil there maybe under Ch-1! Maybe none maybe trillions and we won't know for a few months more
