RE: Despite my misgivings23 May 2018 10:37
I take your point but the value of what is in the ground is what is important. We are talking billions of dollars worth of gas and that takes no account of the potential oil.
Now I understand where we are at the moment but in comparison the funding we need to start getting that gas out of the ground to market is surely peanuts in comparison.
Right now everyone wants a slice of the cake, including Tanzanian government, The Tpdc, zubs, Aex, Solo, ourselves and let's not forget GE group who io stated could be leveraged.
That is a six way negotiation with major corporate play and the seventh is us PIs who through moaning and whinging just add to the pressures.
Don't get me wrong because the bod do seem to have made errors (not proven) but everyone to want to knock the business and expects things done yesterday. I've done my time in overalls and the boardroom and I know that's not possible. This company has so much going for it but is involved in complicated multiple level negotions and people need to understand and remember it.
