Frustrated here waiting for significant news to drop, company have made it pretty clear (I know they have before) in RNS news is due in November and expect EIA to be approved.

I seen the recent RNS at KOD when they announce mining license and it got a 10% rise. I do really hope we at least re-rate. When you compare Kods shares in issue 15.8Billion compare to CMET 172m you can see with positive news that we will shift significantly. Especially when only 40m approx of them shares are in public hands.

Any predictions on news?

After some brief research, I feel this is a good move for capital metals.

For me this is major sign that we are going to be a major player.

I think the CFO change is just noise. Sam Quinn as you say was useless and Anthony Samba was from what I understand had limited involvement due to him being full time with reabound resources. So the short term dip in SP is just people who are not fully informed panicking.

I fully agree with your comment about Frayne that he needs to understand how to communicate with investors. It’s been shocking. Even if this is through the main capital metals communication methods. (Pics of drilling etc)

This caused big dip in SP (below 10 from memory) as the RNS was just noise with no information that non of us didn’t know already.

If he has as we expect been heavily restrict by government then it’s a tough call. I personally don’t want them releasing anything until it’s a definitive EIA statement. Whether that be positive or negative….

Hopefully the start of Nov will be full with positive RNS but we have been here before.

Agreed Paul. If it’s not EIA has landed then I’d rather him so nothing.

I’m taking it as a sign it’s going to be announce next week…I have found the government website where EIA’s are announced in the gazette so keeping eye out for it.

David Burton just confirmed the podcast is schedule next week with frayne. Surley he is going to announce EIA is in the bag.

I’m expecting news any moment

PFG- we have been here for a while and you can see it from the share price all holders since Jan and in loaded and most have doubled down.

I don’t know any other stock that have such news lined up and could 2-3 bag in 2 months. I am as disappointed as anyone with the lack of engagement from frayne but he has also got to be as disappointed as us with the progress of Sri Lanka government.

I couldn’t not agree more. No point in podcast at all if EIA or significant news not in…..that’s why I think EIA this week

We have all been waiting for so long, but over recent weeks there have been indications news flow is coming.

-CEA now approving EIA’s (are we next)?
- commenced drilling to expand resource
- podcast interview coming this week or next
- board meeting schedule.

Share price has stayed steady over recent weeks so everyone’s in and holding for news. I expect little rise towards end of the week as new investors look to get in before EIA announced.

I personally feel your getting overly worried over the port. Dredging is common practice and none of us are experts there from a imagine from good how do you know it’s worse. It could be seasonal, it could be it’s worse but takes few days extra. None of us are experts in dredging ports. Let’s me honest capital metals whole business plan is picking up and moving sands, so why is dredging a small port a major issue.

Minor issue in my view which was been included in admission documents and in capex spend. In addition, I asked the question back in March and company answered it adequately. If it come to the worst they would just drive it different port on a small Island.

It’s in relation to the dredging. The port has infrastructure but can’t current be used due to sand build up (very similar to any port from my limited knowledge). CMET acknowledge in there EIA and admission document to the market as they would carry this out for government as part of the 35m capital required to get the product to production which is massive win for government

It’s so close to news. Put it in the top draw until January and by then I’m expecting EIA/Mining lisence/ off takes.. three big items of news that should see the Mc shift significantly

TEC meeting undertaken in July which is real positive to know it’s on its final approval. It’s surprising there still intending on planning for production in Q1 2022.

Both highlight the main government and local government departments are open from Monday full time. Previously cabinet was only sitting once a week.

Let’s hope this is the start of news flow.

From reading this article the environmental minster has visited a village in Eastern province which is capital metals area and has been quoted saying that

Minister Mahinda Amaraweera said “A large scale sand mining is being carried out in Neelapola village,” the Minister said.

I expect when he is being said they should give priority to the villages he is referring to jobs. If that is not a good sign that the EIA is in the bag I don’t know what is…..

There is lots of media articles around mineral sands following the cabinet meeting last week. I have seen many comments on this “it will be here within a month”. Many people have viewed this in many different ways in what was a interview not an RNS. Yes he should know better, but he may of been of the view it was nearly there and I expect everything that CMET can do they have done and are waiting on a minster signing a piece of paper.

Working in projects, there can be delays outside of the “projects control” that you just have to deal with. In particular in a country that his not his native language. This is with the government for approval and they will approve it when they feel like it, yes we can apply pressure but this needs to be done in a controlled manner.

Don’t get me wrong, I like many others would love an RNS saying EIA approved, but I also don’t want one saying it’s nearly there. (No news as we know that).

I would be more nervous if this was new company drilling and pumping results. We are on the verge of significant change, from development company to a company bringing in revenue once construction starts.

Just sit tight, trust the process of why you have invested. Me personally, I am putting this away in draw and I will check back in late November 2021.
