Licensing Round Opportunities

Several major licensing rounds have been recently announced, opening new opportunities for oil and gas exploration:

Brazil: The next oil & gas licensing round on 17 June will offer 332 exploratory blocks across key onshore and offshore basins.

Thailand: The 25th Licensing Round will offer nine onshore blocks, with bid submissions due 1-16 July. Seven blocks are in the northeast of the country, while two are in the central region.

India: The 10th round of the Open Acreage Licensing Policy (OALP) is the largest by acreage to date, covering 191,986 sq km across 25 blocks in shallow, deep and ultra-deep waters.

Libya: Set to launch its first bidding round in over 17 years, with majors like Eni, OMV, BP and Repsol already resuming exploration in the country.
