Oil price surges to near war high

The price of oil is rising again with a barrel of Brent crude oil, the global benchmark, up more than 5% to above $118.

It's rising close to its highest level since the start of the Iran war when it briefly hit $119.50 a barrel on the 9 March.

The latest jump leaves it on track for its biggest monthly gain on record as oil traders contend with Iran's effective control over the Strait of Hormuz, through which 20% of the world's oil supply had flowed before the war.

The explosions are terrifying, war is not a joke. its sad how newspapers and press just make out its part and parcel of daily living, I know of many people currently fleeing Dubai. also most of the missile attacks from Iran happen during the night.

A Kuwaiti tanker fully loaded with two million barrels of oil was set on fire while docked in Dubai after an Iranian drone strike, local authorities said, after President Donald Trump threatened to obliterate Iran’s energy sources.

This is a year long war Tony, general public of the uk is being Ignorant as it doesnt affect them directly or so they think.

A mess of a random war now, more oil plants being hit, its a mess. with oil 200 looking more and more likely now, Tullow at this price is surely still a gift, I wonder when the market makers will wake up, they might take this for a rapid rise and leave people who are out looking, less see! do your own research, no investment advice intended
