Welcome to BPC, there's nothing new in the recent movement, BPC does this from time to time, be patient and all will come good.
Interims are due out, maybe there's going to be a bit more news?
some nice buys going through, onwards and upwards, a nice steady climb will do nicely
just been offered 2.23
Never shorted this stock , I have been in here many years as my posts will show, my beef with thBOD is that they just let the share drift down, they should be generating confidence in the business, generating excitement, getting the business noticed instead of every now and then throwing out a video that repeats the same points over and over, give out some positive news more often I say, if there isn’t any generate some
Ok website updated, can the board now please concentrate on generating shareholder value, p*ss poor performance from the board
Long term holders in here know that this share gives no rhyme or reason for it's movements, I have been here from Alan Burns days , he knew his stuff that guy, and I am sure he is looking down on us and saying "hang tight we are on the cusp of greatness"
Got a feeling this may lift off shortly
why will a drill not happen without the merger?
Just my musings, most long term holders bought in to this company for the Bahamas drill (Perseverance).
Yes its a gamble, but its one we have known about for a long long time, we saw an opportunity, we looked at Alan Burns (RIP) hard work and we thought yes its a risk but a calculated risk that we are prepared to take, what we (or I) didn't sign up for was for the BOD as soon as they get a bit of cash in the bank to run around buying Licences and indeed companies, we were focused on one opportunity, we knew the gamble but we were looking at high risk high reward, we were focused on that opportunity , what will CERP give us? .........probably more headaches and a drain on cash, I know its an all share deal but they are going to need working capital to ramp up production, if that's the case why didn't they go it alone and raise money? as I said just my musings
there is a whiff of something there......
Two different brokers and two different amounts though ? Please advise I am not what is known as a “sophisticated “ investor

Regardless of what we all think,I believe there are a few more twists and turns in the coming weeks and months
What if, say an investor/ major was still sniffing round, not for farm in but for an acquisition, the barrier to the said acquisition is maybe that the only assets BPC have at the moment are 3D data and permissions to drill around the Bahamas, so it’s a one trick pony so to speak, now however after this deal, the assets are multiple , instead of an explorer, BPC becomes a producer with multiple licences/ opportunities if Bahamas drill fails the acquirer still has assets rather than a bowl of dust and a lower bank balance, the future of the company is no longer dependent on 1 or 2 drills.........or is that the optimist in me getting giddy?
Its taken years to get to the point of drilling, just when we are on the cusp of great things they start getting big ideas about becoming a major, ffs.......
Kosmos Energy who have bought the licences next door have a market cap of £984m....be nice to get up to that value.....we can all dream
