Well last year the contract extension was announced on the 16th so should hear any day now on that, unless of course they are not extending.
I am no expert on employment law but if they do not extend I think he would just carry on with same terms but without the protection of a notice period?

Or maybe the hold up in signing any agreement is down to Potters salary demands? he knows they need him as he will be the link to the BG. I am sure if I was in his shoes I would use that to my advantage
