comes from many sources at the BBC and some of their most respected contributors will not be Blackbird users. The Editing suite used I would suggest is secondary to securing the best content to stay ahead in the ratings. As I have suggested previously- announcements about contracts are not what the industry is about as editing suites are like sayng my kettle is a Russell-Hobbs as opposed to some other make and to say that is not going to win more hits or numbers but will be a turn off to the public.
Home produced output and collaboration will not mention Forscene or blackbird as it will be white labelled so to speak and the route to market is only relevant to producers not investors who are probably better served in FBTs case by an element of secrecy in expanding use.
I see Vimeo are taking a different route to market as one of their ads popped up on my pc to promote their platform for videos- not something FBT can do but FBT can be the best in the background, industry wide, if they truly have the product. The fact that they are not out of business shows they do have the product and the need to save time/energy/space etc I am hoping will mean our time has come with a quicker pace of profit build up.
