Olley Olley Olley Olley, Alonso, Alonso!!! Celebrated my 50th today and what a wonderful present from the Aston Martin team. Cars looked awesome and both Fernando and Lance clearly loved every minute behind the wheel and look seriously energised!!

Wgg hi at an incredible job the F1 team have done over winter and everything about Aston Martin really has started well this year and much more to come me thinks!!! ;-))

Watching both Verstappen and Alonsos fast laps, they were pushing hard and both had a couple of steering adjustments to make , Max a bigger one so on a real clean lap, Max may just have it in the bag but the Aston looks very well set up and balanced on track

Alonso still top of the list after FP3!!!!! Can’t wait for Qualifying :-)))))

Alonso fastest in FP2 and the Aston looking very very good. Topped off with what looks like a SP closing at a weekly and 6 month high, it’s onwards and upwards into the 270’s next :-))

Day traders gauging on the jump up today off the back of good news and selling out for a quick profit but I’d expect the SP to continue to climb in a nice orderly manner as it has done the last 6 months. After the results, no reason why it shouldn’t

The margins are much improved and very positive and with CapEx peaking this year, future margins and profits will be even stronger.

As I said, corner definitely turned IMHO and a clear demonstration of Stroll’s fantastic ability and business acumen over the last couple of extremely difficult years in bringing Aston Martin to where it is today. Have a good day.

So if at market close the day before the Placing of new shares go live, the SP is still say 32p, it will open the following morning significantly lower due to the SP reacting to the additional shares placed correct ie the dilution?

The number of shares being added is about 65% of the current total so in theory, the opening SP on the day the additional shares go live will be 65% lower than the previous day’s close?

Thanks Nova. Without a SP ‘boosting’ RNS before the Placing comes into effect, SP will be as flat as a pancake between now and then!!!

Can anyone confirm the total number of shares currently in IES and ahead of the Placing?

Also, the Pkacing and Open Offer will add an approximate 55 million shares in total?

Good post Pekingduck and for anyone willing to be patient, great opportunity to buy and hold at these levels as I think over the next year or two, holders will look back at this and think what a bargain it was at 32p!!!
