It will be interesting to see how this plays out post JORC release - I've been in a couple of O&G explorer plays where after the initial drill results, the CPR appraisal of the well confirms number of recoverable barrels and if the find is big enough then the SP typically rises relative to the find.

Insti's will know - just prior to suspension in Feb 2020 daily volumes were between 100m and 170m - thats when we will know THE RNS is about it drop. the recent rise up from 14p only had about 50 m odd.

Already covered the reduced palladium prices is due to reduced auto demand based on that industries supply chain problems brought about by covid19. The substitution of platinum for palladium is a bit of a red herring as the reverse happened when platinum prices were high - now its the opposite. In all of these the one to watch is Neal Froneman is already partnered with BASF to help create the Tri-Metal Cat which surprise, surprise uses more Platinum than Palladium. the 'deal maker' knows that too high a cost for PGMs will eventually lead the auto manufacturers to find alternatives. Froneman has been bullish on platinum for some time - he's playing the market and moving it the way he wants (already said Sibanye's strategy is to partner with the end user manufacturers like BASF). Incidentally Anglo American partner with Johnson Matthey.
