I couldn't be bothered to respond because I didn't like the lazyarse request of - 'can someone tell me what's going on because I can't be bothered to find out myself.' This is a discussion forum, not somewhere you can pass through every few months for others to update you.
Why have the sales dropped from 70,000t in Q1 22 to 47,000t in Q2 22? Surely it should be going the other way?
Price target of 15p
Didn’t you read the RNS back in November? It’s there in black and white, no point in guessing or pretending that we haven’t been kept informed.
Equity raise this year is well known and needed to complete the engineering works. RNS on 30 November 2021 stated
'In addition to the Note, the Company and BPOPF have agreed preliminary terms for a further BWP 50m (~USD 5m) equity investment post 1 July 2022 which is conditional to legal agreements in relation to this process being prepared and finalised. Further details will be provided in due course.'
Better to be a goat than a donkey!
It's worth remembering though Brad that we have more than doubled the number of shares issued since 2018, albeit most of those new shares have been issued to long term investors. But even going on the MC of £50 million back in 2018 and the MC of £10 million now (with a few £million in the bank) the disparity is massive.
I don't think anybody 'gets' why you post here other than the fact that you're an attention seeker with a chip on your shoulder and you're a bit weird!
Presumably you're aware that if the Botswana Pension Fund choose to convert the loan into shares, it will be at 3.2p?
I don't feel the need to micro manage them. As long as it gets done in the quoted 15 months, I'll let them decide how it's going to be done.
Whizzer's precious poles have turned up

Whizzer, I haven’t responded to your idiotic post because it’s basically a cut and paste post from one of your previous posts and demonstrates how ignorant you are. I’m absolutely fine with this morning’s update. Clearly the BOD has been reading this forum and have updated shareholders to stop muppets like you giving out misinformation about how quickly the poles should be erected. If you knew anything about construction or civil engineering works, you would realise that there is invariably a (often lengthy) period of enabling works prior to carrying out the meat of the contract. If, for example, you were having house extended, you wouldn’t expect the contractor to immediately start the extension without first clearing the site, diverting the services, establishing access, site accommodation and making it safe, would you? The same principle can be applied to this transmission line contract. It obvious they need to clear the path for the machinery to be utilised in erecting the poles. Regarding the procurement of poles, there would typically be a down payment when ordering these, so I suspect that to limit their costs they have ordered these as late as possible and to time the delivery of the poles to coincide with the availability of the equipment and workers to erect the poles, otherwise they would have to pay for them and store them.
Your obsession with these poles is bizarre, you’re trying to micromanage this process in your head without knowing what the schedule of works looks like. We are told it will take 15 months, that is the headline figure you should focus on, if 12 months from now there hasn’t been significant progress then I would be concerned. Just chill man!!!
Minister of Minerals and Energy Honourable Lefoko Moagi visits Tlou Energy stand at BRIEF 2022 to get an update. Happy that construction of the transmission line has commenced and looking forward to visiting site for the ground breaking ceremony within the next month.

'Ground breaking ceremony', surely the first pole erected doesn't deserve such a ceremony? I wonder what they define as 'ground breaking'?
No, they're going to just lay them straight on the ground, so you longer have to worry about the poles.
It's almost like the company reads the contents this discussion forum! Will whinging wizzer be happy? Doubt it.
'They should have a proper drill rig with corkscrew drill and should get through at least 10 holes a day if not more, but that depends on if they are using the same drill rig to lift the poles into place or they should have a separate machine to do this'
Completely agree with this Whizzer, apart from the 10 poles a day. It was that ******** moagi who couldn't differentiate between drilling a hole and digging a hole. As a Civil Engineer and having worked with numerous piling contractors in the past, I would be surprised if one gang could set up, drillout the hole, place the concrete, plumb the pole and move on to the next one in less than 90 minutes. You might be right and they might not have started the poles yet, but it's a moot point when they've given themselves 15 months to connect to the grid. If needs the poles installed in short time, they could always have many gangs operating from both ends to speed up the installation, so I don't know what you are worried about. If you have so little trust in the management, move on! I know I would if I felt that way.
BTW, if you call someone an Idiot, it's 'You're an Idiot', not 'Your an Idiot' ........the irony!
Whizzer, you are such an idiot.
The last update the company stated:
'To connect to the national power grid, a 100 Km transmission line needs to be built to connect Lesedi to the existing grid. During the quarter the transmission line construction contractor and owners' engineer were engaged, and work has commenced on the project.'
The next stage is very simple. I would estimate for about next 9 months they are going to be drilling a shallow hole in the ground every 100m or so, dropping a pole into the ground and filling is with concrete. So for 100km, they'll have about a 1000 poles to install at maybe 4 or 5 poles a day. Clearly it's a long slow process and the company has stated that it has commenced.
Brad,
Moagi is like tinnitus, he's just a background noise that people on here have got used to. Whether he's banging on about political coups or claiming that Tlou is a 'hold' whilst ' fearing' (praying) that the SP will drop to 1p! He (she or whatever) is just some Billy no mates with a chip on its shoulder about this particular stock and by association, anyone seriously invested in it. I personally welcome your enthusiastic response to its nonsense, although I would suggest that you stop pretending that you have him on filter as it undermines the credibility of your argument.
Well whizz, they confirmed that work for the poles and wires has commenced, surely after 12 months of whinging, you are happy with that bit of news? Unless of course you’re expecting an RNS for each pole put into the ground!
