They’re miles behind Tlou, I can’t see them tendering for the Orapa supply.

I do remember in an interview with Colm about 3 or 4 years ago, he said that it would be possible to supply Orapa with gas using a 'virtual pipeline' whereby the gas is compressed and trucked between the two sites. Obviously a physical pipeline would be better, but initially maybe a virtual pipeline is the plan in their tender.

I reads to me like they're telling anyone interested in buying shares in the company to get on board now or you're going to miss the boat.

If you've ever been involved in tenders before, you'll know that the preferred bidder normally enters into negotiations with client or contract administrator to clarify any unknowns or ambiguities regarding costs or time that may be apparent in their tender. It could be something like what happens to the price if copper wire goes up by 20%. It's not normal to just rubber stamp the tenderer with the lowest price without carrying out a full appraisal. I'd like to think that shrewd Tony and the gang are nailing down a good price to save company money in the long term. There's no please in some people.

Whizzer, if you genuinely want the SP go up, venting your frustrations on here ain't going to help in achieving that goal, although it might make you feel better in the short term. None of us are happy when the price is going down, however sentiment for the company going forward is still very positive so I don't see this anything more than a blip. Personally I reckon it will bottom out around 3p, stay there for a few weeks and then start climbing again as it did last month - might even happen sooner.

In a nut shell - Brad has long running beef with Donkey on the other forum, Donkey comes on the LSE under 3 (I think?) different aliases (Bizarrely all three converse with themselves to try and give the impression that they are not connected). You said 'whole work program associated with the poles and wires', which implies that this cash raise is not enough to pay for the work that has recently been tendered, when clearly that's not the case otherwise the company would not be able to enter into a contract. The $10 million was originally for poles & wires + engineering, wells and power generation.

How do you know it's not enough for the poles and wires? Have you seen the tender results? IIRC, they still had about 3 million AUD in cash left at the end of 2020, this fundraise will add about another 4.5 million AUD. It would be a bit stupid to award a tender without having all the funds in place to pay for the work. Anyway I'm sure the bulk of $10 million originally earmarked to achieve first electricity production will be spent on additional wells, generator units and the associated engineering works to bring that together.

Yes Damo, the price of copper has gone a bit mad over the last 12 months, in fact it went up 20% in the last 6 weeks and it looks like it will continue to rise. The wholesale cost of the wires will be going up similarly, so it should be assumed that were tight time restrictions for awarding the tender.

I suspect Whizzer has a twisted sense of humour, nobody can be that thick and have stumbled across Tlou as a potential investment. I suspect every time he writes one of his ultra-negative post, he’s 9issing himself laughing and thinking to himself ‘that’ll wind em up!’ It’s clear to anyone who’s been following the company over the last couple of years, another 2019/2020 will not wash with shareholders, the fundraise is to add material value to the company whilst the usual red tape and due diligence is carried out regarding the financing. Tenders usually have limited time whilst they remain firm, after that there would have to be retender. Investors want to see physical progress towards earning income, this fundraise is a sensible approach to ensure that milestone is met come the end of the year.
With funding agreed, 10MW PPA and connection to the grid this should be a £150 million company all day long. I’ve got over 2 million of these shares and I’ve never been more relaxed with my investment.

The herd of 1 days share speculators that post all sorts of hype on these BB's have yet to arrive. I much prefer this steady 10% per day rise keeping it under the radar. Sentiment has clearly changed on this stock, lets hope Tony can keep it going.
